đź’ś Supporting the Wellbeing of Our Pupils đź’ś

At Tandragee Junior High School, we recognise that young people can sometimes face challenges that affect their wellbeing, confidence and emotional health. Having access to counselling in school can provide pupils with a safe, confidential space to talk, be listened to and develop positive coping strategies.

We are delighted to work in partnership with Links Counselling Service and our school counsellor, Rachel, is available every Tuesday to support pupils who may benefit from this service.

Seeking support is a sign of strength, and we are committed to ensuring that every pupil knows they are valued, supported and never alone.

Rachel spoke to our pupils in assembly this morning about her role and met with Mr. Brown and Mr. Pepper afterwards.

Our amazing HOPE counsellors spent some time together getting ready to go back into their post primary schools.

We refreshed some training and then spent the afternoon getting creative thinking about how we can take steps to look after our mental health throughout the school year.

We can't wait to get back into our schools, catch up with our Key Contacts and see all the wonderful pupils again!

Come and join our team! Applications are still open for our Administrative role at Links Counselling Service.
