Brother 2 Brother

Brother 2 Brother We’re committed to supporting men’s mental health through movement, connection & conversation.

Monthly Walk & Talks, free workouts to fundraising challenges and awareness events, we create safe spaces for men to show up, talk openly and support each other

03/06/2026

There’s a particular kind of loneliness that happens when you’re surrounded by people you used to be close to, but somewhere along the way the conversations got shorter, the calls stopped, the plans never quite happened.

It’s not dramatic. It’s just… drift.

Most men don’t fall out with their mates. They just get busy. And then busier. And then one day you realise you haven’t had a proper conversation with anyone in months.

That drift is dangerous. Not because something is wrong with you, but because connection is what keeps us well.

Pick up the phone this week. Not a text. A call.
Five minutes. That’s all it takes to start closing the gap.

New month.

Not a new you. Not a fresh start with a 10-step plan. Just… another chance to keep going.

June doesn’t ask anything of you. It just shows up. So do we.

If May was hard, it’s behind you now. If May was good, carry that forward.

Either way, we’re here. Walk & Talk every month.

September 19th on the horizon.

One day at a time, brothers.

29/05/2026

May is nearly done.

It may have been a good month for you. It may have been one of the harder ones.

Either way, you made it through every single day of it. That’s not nothing.

Brother to Brother exists because we know what it looks like when men carry too much alone. We’ve lived it. We’ve lost people to it.

We’re not here to fix you. We’re not here to tell you how to feel.

We’re just here. Walking alongside you. Every Walk & Talk. Every event.

If this month has been tough, June is a fresh start.
And if you need to talk before then:

Shout: text 85258 — free, 24/7, confidential.

See you in June, brothers.

Something is building.

September 19th. One day. Hundreds of men.

Last year over 80 brothers showed up for our first ever annual awareness event. This year we’re going bigger.
We’re not ready to share everything yet, but we want you to save the date now.

September 19th.

Aligned with World Su***de Prevention Day.

Beds, Herts & beyond.

Free.

More details coming soon. For now, put it in the diary.

Because the more of us that show up, the louder the message gets:

Men’s lives matter. Men’s mental health matters. You matter.

Bank holiday Monday.

For some of you that’s a lie-in, a BBQ, and a long walk.

For some of you it’s just another day that feels a bit louder and a bit lonelier than usual.

Both are valid. Both are real.

If you’re doing well, enjoy it. You’ve earned it.

If you’re not, that’s okay too. Today doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s bank holiday.

Get outside if you can. Even for ten minutes. Even just to the end of the road.

We’re here. We’re always here.

CALM: 0800 58 58 58 — 5pm to midnight if you need to talk tonight.

A lot of the men who come to our walks are dads.

Some@of themay have thought the same thing at some point:
“I just don’t want my kids to see me struggle.”

We get it. But here’s the thing:

Your kids don’t need you to be invincible. They need you to be present. They need to see that it’s okay to have hard days and still show up. That asking for help is strength, not weakness.

The best thing you can model for your children is that men talk. Men feel. Men reach out when they need to.

That lesson lasts a lifetime.

You don’t need to love exercise.

You just need to know what it does.

30 minutes of moderate movement reduces cortisol (your stress hormone). It releases endorphins. It improves sleep. It gives you something to focus on that isn’t the thing you’re worrying about.

It won’t fix everything. But it makes everything easier to face.

You don’t need:
❌ A gym
❌ Kit
❌ A plan
❌ To enjoy it

You just need:
✅ 20–30 minutes
✅ To start

Walk. Bike. Kick a ball. Do the garden. Whatever gets you moving.

Do it today if you can.

Walking in Memory of Tom Phillips

Today we have the honour of joining David and Martin on the Reeth to Richmond stretch of the iconic Coast to Coast walk and what a privilege it is.

David and Martin are walking this incredible route to raise vital funds in memory of Tom Phillips, David’s beloved son, who sadly died by su***de at the age of just 29. Tom is remembered with so much love, and every step of this walk is a tribute to him.

They are raising money for three incredible charities:

The Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion is a British charity providing financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants.

Grassroots Su***de Prevention - Grassroots Su***de Prevention empowers people to help save lives from su***de through connecting, educating, and campaigning nationally.
They also created the award-winning Stay Alive app, a resource full of tools and information to help users stay safe in crisis, which has been downloaded over 500,000 times.

SOBS - Survivors of Bereavement by Su***de
SoBS is the only UK-based organisation offering peer-led support to adults impacted by su***de loss. They help individuals support each other, both at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow

We joined them on this stretch not only to walk alongside them, but to stand with them in their mission to raise awareness, to break the silence, and to help remove the stigma that still surrounds mental health and su***de.

Too many families know this pain. Too many people suffer in silence. Conversations save lives, and walks like this one remind us that we are stronger together.

If you can spare even a small donation to support David and Martin’s incredible journey, please do. Every penny goes toward ensuring that others get the support they need before it’s too late.

Walk on, David and Martin. Tom would be so proud.
