From t**s and a Terrence Trent ‘Darby’ at 27 to pecs and abs at 47, I will tell you that age means nothing and that lifestyle is everything.

It’s been a lifelong battle for me with my weight and what ultimately led me into the industry at 27 as a frustrated overweight runner who wanted to fix himself first then inspire others.

It’s never been plain sailing for me however and my weight has always gone up and down even as a personal trainer for almost 2 decades.

Yet 18 months ago I made a decision, a decision that I knew I had to make as someone who always had a feeling deep in his gut that he could be better.

I went all in on weight training 4 x a week training alongside my parter Bex (aka the bunda) who inspired me to lift rather than run.

I reduced the long distance running 4 per week and did all the s**t I hated, some days kicking and screaming about deadlifts and lunges.

Yet the main thing I discovered was a love of DISCIPLINE. I literally used to hate that word because I couldn’t maintain discipline, now I live and die by it and wouldn’t have it any other way.

When you realise that the health, fitness and a body you desire are all on the other side of discipline that truth will really set you free.

I’m trying to build something special with Healthy Happy Dad and create a legacy for my son's whilst making them proud in the meantime.

There is more to come too, life is heavy right now with my dad's illness but my body feels the best it’s ever had.

Trust me when I say walking around with t**s isn’t cool (unless you’re a female), especially at times as a PT (that s**t hurts bad) and that having pecs + visible abs will make you feel bulletproof because it can’t be bought and only be earned.

Life is challenging but the old Tregs with poor habits is dead, I like this new Tregs and he has no plans to turn back.

Sa if you’re fed up of having t**s and a derby and want to become the man you know you can be, the doors are open for the next intake of Dads to join me in my Healthy Happy Dad programme.

My first two weeks at my new clinic in CLAREMONT HOUSE, Lydney has been delightful.
During this very hot spell, I have been blessed to work in a fully air conditioned room which has been so comfortable for myself and my patients, that they have been dancing for joy ( well … almost - but, very happy none the less)

Wednesdays and Thursdays are now fully booked and the feedback is tremendous.

I feel truly privileged and thank you Larry Clift, Freedom From Pain Sports Massage for the opportunity to room share, the days work perfectly.

As one door closes, another one springs open.

I am delighted to welcome you all to my new location, within the beautiful and well established building known as CLAREMONT HOUSE, Lydney GL15 5DX

Taking the opportunity to semi retire, I will be available just two days a week from this venue, on a Wednesday and Thursday.

My diary is quickly filling to the end of the year with regular patients booking appointments well in advance.

I apologise to those I cannot offer treatments to, but condensing a five day working clinic into two days is an impossible task.

I can highly recommend two amazing and very qualified ladies Dawn Bernard and Chloe Thomas that offer home visits in and around the Forest of Dean area and their numbers will be available upon request.

I thank you all for your appreciation of my work, your loyalty and consideration of this most positive move.

And now, I must fly like a bird to the land full of sardines, wonderful rugged coastline and blue skies….

Today is May 1st and here begins the final month of LYDNEY FOOTCARE CLINIC based at 19, Newerne Street. Sadly, this premise will add to the growing number of empty business’ on the high street.

Negligence to the maintenance of the property, and the spreading damp and mould, has left me no alternative but to vacate.

Taking advantage of semi retirement, I am happy to be limiting my working days to just two a week at CLAREMONT HOUSE, Lydney.

I am already fully booked for the next five months and unable to take on any new business.

I do, however have two lovely professional ladies that can offer home visits.

As from Friday May 29th 2026 Lydney Footcare Clinic will cease to operate from 19, Newerne Street GL15 5RA

This is a decision I have been forced to make due to damp and spreading mould affecting the interior of the premise which I lease. A condition that in time will become a health risk to both myself as a tennant, and some of my more vulnerable patients.

It is unfortunate that the new owner, based in London has refused to repair and maintain the property which was sold at auction last year.

After much consideration I feel I have little choice but to terminate my tenancy.

I am not retiring and will continue to offer a professional foot care service for three days a week only, to my valued and longstanding patients
