We're delighted to introduce Tracey Baker, our new Clinical Deputy Manager at Sway Place 💙

🌟Tracey is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with an impressive clinical background, having spent much of her career at specialist heart and lung hospitals, including the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. She has extensive leadership experience within health and social care.

🌟Having a Registered Nurse as part of our leadership team is a real asset to Sway Place, providing residents and families with additional clinical expertise, guidance, and reassurance alongside our exceptional care

🌟Tracey is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care and ensuring residents enjoy a safe, engaging, and fulfilling lifestyle. Her wealth of nursing knowledge, leadership experience, and warm, approachable nature make her a fantastic addition to our team.

🌿 Sway Place Care Home is proud to be part of 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔! 🌿

🌸Our beautiful gardens will be open throughout the day as part of this fantastic community event organised by the Sway Gardening Club.
🌸Visitors can explore our stunning grounds, enjoy garden games on the lawn, relax with a delicious cream tea, and listen to live music from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.
🌸We look forward to welcoming our local community while supporting Oakhaven Hospice and this fabulous event.

The Sway Gardening Club and the Villagers of Sway look forward to welcoming you to Sway Open Gardens 2026. Every other year, the villagers open their beautifully-tended gardens to the public for one day in support of Oakhaven Hospice.

At the village Church Rooms and Youth Centre, there will be a plant stall with a wide range of plants available for purchase as well as refreshments, musical entertainment and a raffle with a variety of super prizes up for grabs!

Book in advance for a discounted rate - £8 in advance and £10 on the day.

Residents were in full voice this afternoon as the wonderful Rockin' Robins filled the atrium with music, laughter, and plenty of favourite tunes.
A huge thank you to Meryl for leading the fun and Mark Busell for the fantastic keyboard accompaniment. What a brilliant afternoon! ❤️🎵

Today, we enjoyed our weekly Drama Club meeting, reading through a script together and bringing the characters to life.
