NHS and Private appointments are available with booking going live nationally from Monday 17th August.
Please note NHS vaccine appointments are only available nationally from 1st October although the bookings can be secured from 17th August. Private Covid vaccinations are available already and Private Flu vaccines will be available mid to late September. Check your eligibility below for NHS vaccines as the criteria may have changed.

Who can get a free COVID vaccine?
• Adults aged 75 and over
• Residents in care homes for older adults
• People aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
Who can get a free flu vaccine?
• Pregnant women (from 1 September)
• All children aged 2–3 and school-age children (from 1 September)
• Children in clinical risk groups (from 1 September)
• Adults aged 65+ (from 1 October)
• Adults aged 18–64 in clinical risk groups (from 1 October)
• Carers and frontline social care workers
Vaccinations start from:
• 1 September 2025: Pregnant women & children
• 1 October 2025: Most adults

For the current NHS programme in the UK, free seasonal COVID-19 vaccination is now targeted at people at highest risk of serious illness if they catch the virus.

Main groups who are eligible
You are normally eligible if you are:

- Aged 75 years and over (including those who will turn 75 during the campaign period)

- Living in a care home for older adults (all residents, regardless of age)

- Aged 6 months or over and immunosuppressed (have a “weakened immune system” due to a condition or treatment)

The NHS spring COVID-19 vaccination programme for 2026 is scheduled to begin on Monday, 13 April 2026.

Key Booking Information

First Day of Appointments: The first vaccinations will be administered from 13 April 2026.
Booking Start Date: While the exact date for the opening of the National Booking Service has not been explicitly confirmed in all regions, previous years suggest it typically opens about one week before appointments begin.
How to Book: Once open, you can book via the NHS App, the NHS website (see link below), or by calling 119 for free.

Eligibility for Spring 2026
Vaccinations are being offered to those at highest risk:
*Adults aged 75 and over (or those turning 75 by 30 June 2026).
*Residents in care homes for older adults.
*Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed.

The NHS programme is expected to conclude on 30 June 2026. You do not need to wait for an invitation letter to book if you know you are eligible.
