✋ On This Day… International Left-Handers Day!

August 13th is International Left-Handers Day, celebrating all the lefties out there and the little differences that come with living in a predominantly right-handed world.

First observed in 1976, the day has been raising awareness of the everyday challenges left-handed people face for 50 years.

From scissors and tin openers to school desks and smudging your writing as you go, some everyday things just weren’t designed with left-handers in mind!

And school could be a very different experience for left-handed pupils in years gone by. Some people may even remember being encouraged — or made — to use their right hand instead.

So, we’d love to hear your memories…

Shifts available:
🕒 Weekdays: 3:00pm–10:00pm
🕒 Weekends: 7:00am–2:00pm & 3:00pm–10:00pm

What you’ll receive:
✔️ £13.70 per hour (Monday–Friday)
✔️ £14.70 per hour (Saturday & Sunday)
✔️ 45p per mile mileage allowance
✔️ Guaranteed contracted hours
✔️ Flexible working patterns
✔️ Full training provided – no experience necessary
✔️ Ongoing support from our experienced local team
