💙 Amelia’s Journey: Part 2

When Amelia first joined Ablewell, one of the things she was most nervous about was answering the phones.

Like many people starting a new role, she worried about not knowing the answers or what callers might ask.

Fast forward a few weeks, and Amelia has now answered the phones many times and is doing a fantastic job! 👏

It’s a great reminder that confidence doesn’t come from knowing everything on day one. It comes from learning, asking questions, and gaining experience along the way.

We’re proud of how far Amelia has come already and can’t wait to see what she achieves next.

Today, Ablewell treated their amazing team to a well-earned fish and chip lunch, whether out and about in the community or holding the fort in the office! 💙

Our community staff and office team may have been in different places, but they were all celebrated equally, because every single one of them deserves it!

A big thank you to our incredible team for everything they do each day to support our clients across Macclesfield, Congleton, Sandbach, and the surrounding areas.

For Amelia, an apprenticeship felt like the perfect way to gain experience, build confidence, and earn a qualification while learning on the job.

One thing many people don’t realise is that apprenticeships aren’t just for school leavers. They can be a fantastic opportunity for people of any age who want to learn new skills, gain qualifications, or take a new direction in their career.

Apprenticeships provide valuable real-world experience, helping people develop confidence and knowledge while working as part of a supportive team.

We’re delighted to have Amelia as part of the Ablewell team and look forward to supporting her as she grows in her role.

One of the hardest parts of working in care is saying goodbye. 💙
