Why have I called my page Flow State Pilates by Sarah?
To me, Flow State is when you become fully engaged in the moment. You are beyond distraction and you find clarity and purpose
I have always struggled to find that in stillness. I’ve tried different meditation techniques, with varying success, but I’ve never quite been able to clear the ‘noise’
As I practised and taught more Pilates, I started to find that the mental clarity I was looking for came with physical movement, and in particular the connection between breathe and movement. Moving mindfully, with control and ease allowed me to fully engage in the moment
I would leave my Pilates practice with a clear head and positivity. I could move forward with my day with clarity and inspiration
That’s what I want to bring to my classes; a moment to pause, a moment to breathe, to relieve tension and to leave feeling both physically and mentally stronger, and with clarity and vision.
That’s my goal. That’s my Flow State. And I hope you can join me and can discover yours🌷
