Sunshine, good food, no rushing around and most importantly, proper time with my family.

As much as I love my work and being busy, I think sometimes you need to switch off, slow down and just enjoy being together.

A little holiday reflection ☀️

Having some time away from clinic has given me a chance to look back at just how many transformations I’ve been lucky enough to be part of this year.

And when I say transformations, I don’t just mean the before & after.

It’s seeing someone look in the mirror and feel more confident. It’s creating subtle changes that still look completely like them. It’s the patients who have trusted me with their faces for years, and the new patients who have chosen me for the first time.

I’m incredibly grateful that I get to do a job I genuinely love and even more grateful for every single person who puts their trust in me.

Lots more to come when I’m back in clinic 🤍

Somehow I’m still convinced I can fit it all into 24 hours 😂

Running a business, working in the NHS, being there for the girls, keeping on top of home life, squeezing in the gym and replying to patients somewhere in between.

And then wondering why I’m absolutely shattered by 9pm. 😂

Would I change it? Probably not.
Would I like an extra 6 hours in the day? Absolutely.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who massively overestimates what they can fit into a day…

Polynucleotides, amazing for your skin, but we need to talk about the downtime…

Polynucleotides are all about improving skin quality rather than changing your face. They work gradually to support skin regeneration, hydration and elasticity, making them particularly useful for areas such as the under-eyes, face and neck.

But one thing patients need to know: you may not look your best when you first leave clinic.

The product is placed into the skin using multiple small injections, which can leave visible bumps, redness and swelling immediately afterwards. Around the eyes especially, swelling can sometimes look quite noticeable.

This is temporary and usually settles as the product disperses and the initial reaction calms down.

So this definitely isn’t the treatment I’d book immediately before an important event!

The immediate aftermath might not be pretty… but we’re treating the skin for the results that come later.

This is exactly why lip filler isn’t always about making lips bigger.

As we age, the lips naturally lose volume, structure and definition. They can start to look thinner, flatter and less hydrated, with more noticeable lines around the mouth.

Here, the aim was simply to restore what had been lost.

A subtle treatment has helped to:

* create a softer, fresher appearance

No dramatic change. No oversized lips. Just a natural result that still looks completely like her.

Cheek filler isn’t about creating big, obvious cheeks… it’s about restoring what time has taken away.

One of the biggest myths in aesthetics is that cheek filler is only for adding volume.

In reality, it’s often used to restore facial support and create a fresher, more balanced appearance.

Lip filler isn’t just about making lips bigger… and that’s one of the biggest misconceptions I hear.

There are so many reasons someone might choose lip filler, and volume is often only a small part of it.

Sometimes it’s about:
• Softening those vertical lip lines that appear with age.
• Restoring hydration to lips that have become dry and flat.
• Replacing volume that’s naturally lost over time.
• Creating better balance with the rest of the face.

The best lip filler shouldn’t make people ask, “Have you had your lips done?”

It should simply make you look fresher, healthier and more like yourself.

Not every lip treatment is about creating more volume.

Sometimes it’s about restoring hydration, refining the shape and adding just enough structure to enhance what’s already there.

Not every face needs more filler. Sometimes it needs less. 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that more product always means a better result.

It doesn’t.

When filler is repeatedly added without considering facial proportions, it can start to create features that look exaggerated rather than refreshed.

In this carousel, I’ve used some light-hearted examples to show what I mean.

• Overfilled cheeks can create unwanted width and a heavier appearance.

• Too much chin filler can throw off facial harmony and make the lower face look longer than intended.

• Bigger lips don’t always look better. Once natural shape and definition are lost, lips can start to dominate the face instead of complementing it.

Every face is different, which is why I never follow trends or use the same treatment plan for everyone.

My goal is simple:
Natural, balanced results that enhance your features not change them.

Less is often more.
