🎶 Well, what else are Saturday afternoons for…? FUN, FUN, FUN! 😂💃🕺
Bryn Celyn’s favourite heart-throb, Jimmy Elvis, dropped by to sing a few songs and entertain us — and judging by the smiles, the ladies were VERY happy with their afternoon visitor! 😍😂

There was singing, there was dancing, there were a few hips shaking… and I’m pretty sure some of the ladies were considering running away with Elvis! 🤣❤️

A massive thank you, Jimmy, for bringing the music, the laughs and a little bit of Elvis magic to Bryn Celyn.

You certainly had the ladies ALL SHOOK UP! 🎤🔥😂

Saturday afternoons don’t get much better than this… although I think the ladies might be expecting an encore! 😉💃❤️

We made a lovely batch of Bryn Celyn's Welsh Cakes, but they seem to have mysteriously disappeared... We're blaming staff (definitely not the residents ! 😉).

Fresh, warm, super scrummy, and absolutely perfect with a proper cuppa. ☕❤️

What a busy week it's been at Bryn Celyn! 🎉
The Bryn Celyn Games have been so much fun, bringing everyone together for plenty of laughter, teamwork, and a little healthy competition. Residents and staff have worked side by side, giving it their all for their teams... despite the rumours of cheating! 😂😉

I'm delighted to announce that the Blue Team are our champions once again! 🏆💙 That's three years in a row – what an achievement!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, took part, cheered each other on, and helped make the week such a success. It's been fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves and making so many great memories together.

Now... let the training begin for the Bryn Celyn Games 2027! 💪🎯🥇

🏆 Forget the World Cup. Forget the Commonwealth Games... it's all about Bryn Celyn Sports Week! 🏃‍♂️🏅
The competition is underway, and the rivalry is fierce! 💪

Can the Blue Team hold onto their championship title, or will a new team rise to the top? 👀

World Cup? 🤔 What World Cup? Around here, we prefer a game with a properly shaped ball! 🏉😉

A huge well done to Wales on the win over Fiji! 🍻 We all raised a glass to celebrate. And a massive thank you to Fiji for the fantastic pre-match entertainment—it was colourful, passionate, and a real credit to your nation. 👏❤️

Care Home Open Week has come to an end, and what a fantastic week it has been!
It may have been the wrong-shaped ball, but we have enjoyed every minute of the fun and celebrations. Throughout the week, we sampled some wonderful tastes from around the world, finishing our journey with the hosts of the World Cup – the USA. We even put aside our traditional Fish & Chip Friday to enjoy some delicious American-inspired treats!
We also had some fantastic football shirts on display, and the winning team was Gurvinder’s team at Bryn Celyn. Although, we’re pretty sure VAR may need to take another look at the final score! ⚽😉
A huge thank you to everyone who visited us during the week and helped make it so special. Our doors are always open for a cup of tea, a chat, and a taste of our warm Welsh hospitality.

Care Home Open Week – Bryn Celyn Open Day
What a busy and enjoyable day we had at Bryn Celyn's Open Day as part of Care Home Open Week!
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our home and join in the celebrations. It was wonderful to welcome so many visitors and share the fun with our residents and team.
A special thank you to RCN Wales for getting involved in the football fun, and to Tony for providing fantastic entertainment with his wonderful singing.
We always enjoy opening our doors to the community and creating opportunities for everyone to come together, make memories, and have fun.
Thank you all for making the day such a success! 💙

Care Home Open Week – Day 2 🌍
The ladies have had enough of the football already, so today we turned our attention to the wonderful food of the world!
Residents at Bryn Celyn enjoyed a virtual trip to Belgium, where we sampled some delicious traditional Belgian waffles. 🧇🇧🇪
There were lots of smiles, great conversation, and plenty of enjoyment as we explored another culture through its food. A wonderful way to celebrate Care Home Open Week together!
