Orthotics - Diagnosis and Customization:

- If you’re experiencing significant foot and heel pain, you may see a podiatrist, a specialist in foot conditions.

-The podiatrist will ask about your symptoms, including when you first noticed them and what exacerbates or alleviates them.

-A physical exam of your feet follows, where the podiatrist looks for potential issues and painful areas.

-You might be asked to walk and perform activities to assess foot and ankle positioning during specific exercises.

-A 3D imaging tool creates the cast for the orthotic.

+Traditional imaging methods like X-rays, bone scans, or MRIs may also be recommended to identify arthritis, damage, or injury.
