Well, can you believe it… autumn is officially here! 🍁🍂

Our lovely residents at Marina Care Home have been getting into the autumn spirit by colouring these beautiful “I ❤️ Autumn” pictures. 🎨🖍️

We think they’ve done an absolutely fantastic job! Every picture is completely unique, with lots of beautiful autumn colours, and we can’t wait to see them brighten up our autumn displays. 🧡💛🤎

A huge well done to all our wonderful residents who got involved — it’s always lovely to see everyone getting creative, having a chat and enjoying some quality time together. 🥰

🍂 A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF AUTUMN AT MARINA CARE HOME 🍁

Is anyone else slightly terrified that autumn is almost here already?! 😳🍂 Where has the summer gone?! It feels like we blinked and suddenly we’re talking about cosy evenings, falling leaves and pumpkin season! 🎃😂

Our residents and Activities Therapist Charlotte have been working behind the scenes to bring a little bit of autumn magic to Marina Care Home, and we couldn’t wait to give you a little sneak peek at our autumn notice board! 🍁🧡

From choosing colours and decorations to getting creative and putting everything together, our residents have played a huge part in bringing it to life. 🥰 It’s not just a notice board — it’s a little reflection of the creativity, teamwork and personality of the wonderful people who call Marina home. 🍂

🌸💐 Celebrating 90 Wonderful Years of Mary! 💐🌸

We were absolutely delighted to receive these beautiful photographs from Mary’s daughter, capturing some special moments from Mary’s 90th birthday celebrations. 🎂💗

Just look at that smile! 🥰✨ Mary looked absolutely beautiful as she celebrated this incredible milestone surrounded by love, flowers and those who mean so much to her.

But Mary’s beauty isn’t just something you can see — it comes from within. ❤️ She is such a warm, kind and wonderful lady, and we feel so lucky to have Mary as part of our Marina family.

Mary is celebrating her 90th birthday tonight with a lovely party surrounded by her nearest and dearest, making this milestone even more special. 🥰🎈

Today we celebrate an incredible 10 years of service from our wonderful Manager, Una! 🎉👏

Una truly is the heart of Marina Care Home. ❤️ Her dedication, kindness and compassion shine through in everything she does, and the way she cares not only for our residents but for every member of staff is genuinely outstanding.

For 10 years, Una has poured so much of herself into Marina — always going above and beyond, always making sure our residents are cared for, valued and treated with dignity, while also making sure her staff feel supported, appreciated and cared for. 🌷

A great manager doesn’t just lead a team — they build a family, and Una has done exactly that. Marina wouldn’t be Marina without you! ❤️

Thank you, Una, for your 10 years of dedication, your endless kindness, your hard work and for being the amazing person you are.

What an absolutely amazing day we had at our Annual Summer BBQ! 🎉🍔☀️

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special, and to everyone who has donated, helped out, supported our events and continues to be such an important part of our Marina family. We truly appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

A very special thank you to Liz Cairns for joining us and providing the most incredible entertainment! 🎶 What a voice! Your singing was absolutely amazing and definitely made it a day to remember! 💕👏

We are also delighted to share that, thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised an amazing £345 towards our gardening project! 🌸🌱🌿 This will make such a difference and we can’t wait to see our garden continue to grow into a lovely space for our residents to enjoy.

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and bought raffle tickets. Your generosity and support means so much to us and helps us continue creating wonderful experiences for our residents. 🥰

🌸🧁 BAKING UP A STORM AT MARINA CARE HOME! 🧁🌸

Our Activities Therapist, Charlotte, was joined by some of our wonderful residents to get busy decorating these lovely buns ready for tomorrow’s Annual Summer BBQ! ☀️🎉

There’s nothing better than getting our residents involved in the preparations and seeing everyone enjoying themselves, having a chat, sharing a laugh and creating something together. ❤️

And tomorrow is set to be a fantastic day! We’ll have delicious food, lots of fun, our Summer BBQ & raffle, and we’re delighted to have the wonderful Liz Cairns joining us to sing for everyone! 🎶🎤

We’re looking forward to an afternoon full of music, laughter, good food and great company. 🥰

A huge well done to Charlotte and our residents for their beautiful baking — we can’t wait to enjoy them tomorrow! 🧁❤️
