Most of us only think about their liver when they hear the word “alcohol” but your liver filters everything:
Hormones, Toxins, Blood sugar, Fat, Nutrients, Medications, Skincare chemicals & Even emotional stress

When it’s overloaded you can expect symptoms like:
Constant fatigue or brain fog
Bloating, PMS, or acne
Waking up nauseous or between 1–3am
Strong sugar cravings
Skin flare-ups or stubborn weight

Our wee bodies are so amazing, but it can only compensate for so long!

In this series, I’m breaking it all down piece by piece, so by the end, you’ll know everything you should’ve been taught about your liver.

Next up: What’s really overloading your liver (and how to stop it).

In this first part of my deep-dive liver series, I’m breaking down exactly what the liver does, why it’s so misunderstood, and the silent signs that it’s not coping

Honestly guys, you don’t even have to drink alcohol or have alarms on the blood tests to show your liver is crying out for a bit of support.

Let me know if you relate to this or find this interesting!

You can’t absorb what you can’t digest… say it louder for the people in the back 👏

Top tips:

✨Chew each mouthful properly, digestion starts in the mouth.
✨Avoid drinking large amounts with meals
✨Stay upright after eating and get in a 10–15 minute walk. Studies show movement after meals can support gastric emptying, reduce blood sugar significantly and reduce bloating for some people.
✨Feed your gut bacteria with prebiotic foods (sea moss) and pair with fermented foods.
✨Eat in a relaxed state. Stress can reduce digestive function and contribute to bloating, indigestion and changes in bowel habits.

Remember guys, your wee gut isn’t just responsible for digestion. It plays an important role in immunity, nutrient absorption and even communication with the brain.
These are super basic, but super effective!

Do you follow these steps or do you plan to? Let me know 👏

I think we need to stop beating ourselves up and think more about what our body is trying to tell us! It’s a much more pleasant way to think about it and can be really effective if you are trying to manage cravings.
Your body is communicating with you all day, every day. The more you learn to understand those signals, the easier healthy choices become.

What do you think? Have you always struggled with cravings and then punished yourself in your head thinking you’re not being mentally strong. Let’s not do that to ourselves anymore ❤️

What the research says:
• Higher-protein meals are consistently associated with greater fullness than lower-protein meals.
• Even one night of poor sleep can increase hunger and cravings by altering the hormones involved in appetite regulation.
• Regularly including fibre-rich foods can support fullness and help moderate blood sugar responses after meals.

To be honest I spent years buying expensive skincare that either made my skin worse, or did absolutely nothing.

I also feel nobody talks about the fact that half of them are loaded with ingredients you can’t even pronounce, not to mention the fragrances, hormone disruptors, and chemicals your body has to process.

If you’ve been struggling with acne, redness, dryness, or breakouts that keep coming back, your skin could be starved for minerals, not more products.

I use this as a 100% natural face mask and I swear by it.
This stuff gave me my skin (and confidence) back.

If you’ve tried everything this might be the thing that finally works. Give it a go and report back with the results!

I used to wear these on my fingers as a child… now I know better. 😳🫣
Can anyone else relate??

They have purple bells, with bees disappearing inside them, growing wild along hedges and lanes… I always thought they were like something from a fairytale.

Foxglove, (Digitalis) has a long connection with heart medicine, but it turns out the plant itself is highly highly toxic if eaten!!

So this is one to admire and leave for the bees. Not one for foraging. 🤣

Tell me, has this come at a surprise or did you already know this??

In my opinion your health is built from thousands of small decisions over your lifetime.

I used to always believe if a product was for sale in a supermarket or pharmacy, it was safe and tested… not true

Over the years we’ve seen well known products linked to major lawsuits, recalls, ingredient changes and ongoing scientific debate. Some companies strongly deny the allegations made against them, while others have paid billions in settlements without admitting liability.

All I ask of you is to read ingredient lists. Look beyond the marketing.Ask questions!
Also see what independent research says!

Understand where products come from, how they’re made and whether the companies behind them are transparent.

Some other well known brands I recommend you to look into:

Baby food heavy metals:
* Ge**er
* Beech-Nut
* Earth’s Best

Forever chemicals and PFAS - you need to watch Dark Waters!
*DuPont company(their main UK facility is just 45mins from my home!)

Benzene (known human carcinogen) contamination:
* Dove
* TRESemmé
* Suave
* Nexxus
* Pantene
* Aussie
* Herbal Essences
And sun cream brands:
* Neutrogena
* Aveeno
* Banana Boat

Hormone girls, this plant is everywhere right now! 🌷
I love learning about the plants that grow around us, especially the ones our granny’s would have known, used, and passed down.

Its a plant linked with women’s health, hormonal transitions, perimenopause, menopause, hot flushes, skin changes, mood shifts etc.

This is your reminder to reconnect with the old ways.
Learn the plants. Know what’s in season. Build a relationship with nature again. 🫶

Forage carefully, only pick what you can 100% identify, avoid roadsides/sprayed areas, and always check if a herb is suitable for you especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or dealing with hormone-sensitive conditions.

Nature hasn’t gone away, we just have the responsibility to come back to it🌿

SAVE THIS so you remember red clover while it’s in season.

Tell me, what’s your favourite plant to forage and why??

Every cell in the body needs minerals to function properly. They are needed for hydration, energy, nerve signals, muscle function, digestion, hormones and so many of the processes that help us feel well day to day.

But modern life does deplete them whether it’s stress, sweating, processed foods, poor soil quality, too much caffeine and not enough real nourishment.

For Celtic Sea Salt, I personally take a couple of grains under my tongue, let them dissolve, and then drink my water. I repeat this before each full glass of water. You can instead add a small pinch directly into your water, but this is the way I personally feel the biggest difference.

Then I love bringing in Irish Sea Moss as another mineral-rich food from the sea. Gel or capsule form, they are both super effective!

You want to give your body the basic minerals it needs to feel more replenished, hydrated and supported from the inside out.

Comment MINERALS and I’ll send you the simple daily routine I’d start with. (And maybe an extra surprise!)
