The celebrations continued at Bray Lake as more than 100 volunteers gathered on the terrace to enjoy the sunshine and spend time together with fellow members of the Thames Hospice volunteer family.

We were delighted to welcome our Patron, Anita Dobson, who presented awards and shared her thanks for the extraordinary commitment, kindness and support our volunteers give throughout the year.

From helping in our shops and fundraising events to supporting patients, families and colleagues across the Hospice, our volunteers make an immeasurable difference every day.

Thank you to each and every one of you. Your dedication helps us provide compassionate care to those who need it most, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💜

We were delighted to host more than 100 of our incredible volunteers for afternoon tea as we celebrated their outstanding contribution to our charity.

A special thank you to our Patron, Ross Kemp TV, who joined us to present awards to our long-service volunteers in recognition of their dedication and commitment.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with appreciation, laughter and celebration. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do - quite simply, we couldn't do what we do without them.

The countdown is on! We're excited to be moving into our bigger, brighter new home just across the High Street.

We're sharing the inspiring story of Irene Perrin, one of our Outpatients at Thames Hospice.

After MND affected her speech, AI technology helped recreate Irene's voice using recordings made before it deteriorated. Today, she uses a small communication device that speaks in her own voice, allowing her to continue volunteering at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The technology has been deeply meaningful not only for Irene, but also for her husband of more than 50 years.

"My husband and I have been married for more than 50 years. To be able to remember what I sounded like is very emotional."

Irene also values the support she receives through Thames Hospice's Outpatients service. "It's lovely to come here. The staff are angels; they are so kind, supportive and always there when you need them."

We're proud to support people like Irene to live well, stay connected, and continue doing the things they love.
