Creative Arts at Larchfield House 🌸 🎨

Residents enjoyed a relaxing arts and crafts session, creating colourful flower paintings using cotton buds and paint.

This activity supported creativity, self-expression, concentration, and fine motor skills, while offering a calm and enjoyable environment for residents to engage at their own pace.

We loved seeing the wonderful artwork produced and the sense of achievement each resident experienced throughout the session. 💜

Royal Ascot is coming to Larchfield House! 🐎👑

Join us on Tuesday 16th June, with doors opening at 3:00 PM, for one of Britain’s most iconic events, featuring an afternoon of entertainment, community spirit, and plenty of Royal Ascot excitement.

Enjoy live entertainment from our special entertainer, adding even more fun and excitement to the celebrations!

Celebrating St. George’s Day on 23rd April 🇬🇧

Our residents and team enjoyed a wonderful day filled with community spirit, tradition, and pride here at our care home. 🌹

We were especially honoured by the visit of His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for the County of Berkshire, Mr. Andrew Try. Thank you for taking the time to join us—it truly meant a lot to everyone.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Spring Social on the 10th of April here at Larchfield House. Residents and their families came together for a lovely afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great company.

A huge thank you to Mack Entertainment for providing such fantastic singers every-time we have events. Truly made the day extra special. Your performance brought so much joy to everyone and helped create a brilliant atmosphere for all to enjoy.

What a wonderful afternoon we shared during our Concert last March 31st 🎶✨

Our Activities Team, together with our amazing residents, created a truly special atmosphere filled with music, joy, and unforgettable moments. Events like these remind us how important connection, creativity, and togetherness are in our home 💙

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt goodbye to Denis Espinosa, who has been a valued part of the Larchfield House family for the past 5 years. Denis began his journey as a carer and later became a key member of our Activities Team, bringing warmth, dedication, and positivity to everyone around him.

His contributions over the years—especially the happiness he brought to our residents—have been truly remarkable. Denis’s incredible musical talent has touched so many hearts and made countless moments even more special 🎵

You will be greatly missed, Denis. Thank you for everything you’ve given to Larchfield House. We wish you all the very best in your next chapter 💐
