What happens when cancer cells are exposed to PEMF? ⚡️
A 2024 laboratory study investigated exactly that, exposing two types of breast cancer cells to PEMF and comparing their response with healthy cells.
The researchers found that, under the specific settings used in the study, the cancer cells showed reduced proliferation and viability, alongside increased markers of cell death and cellular senescence. Interestingly, the healthy cells did not show the same response.
It’s important to understand what the study actually tells us, and should not be seen as a cure for cancer.
What it shows is that cancer cells and healthy cells can respond differently to specific PEMF exposure, giving researchers another area to investigate.
