One year of Monarch Counselling! Unfortunately, I’m poorly at the moment otherwise I would have recorded a video. Just wanted to reflect a little on the journey of beginning my private practice. It took a while to gain some traction, I had my first client in August and that ended in October. After that I had enquiries and an initial consultation but nothing that came to fruition. From January this year things really took off. I now have 6 private clients, with a 7th Zoom client starting in September. I have capacity for a maximum of 8 so still open to one more. Two clients are on Zoom and four are face to face. I’m really proud of myself and my journey. To celebrate one year of my private practice I had hoped to update the pictures of myself on my website as I had some taken at the premises where I rent my counselling rooms but due to being unwell, this will have to wait. I’m also increasing my fees for any new clients - not by much as I believe in offering affordable counselling but have to balance that with room rental costs and sustaining myself financially. I’ll post again once I’ve been well enough to update my website so I can share that with you all!
