🍂💉 FLU VACCINES ARE COMING SOON - starting October! 🍂

⚠️ Brewer Street Surgery will soon be inviting all eligible patients for their annual flu vaccination.

🔹 Flu vaccines are free for all eligible NHS patients and we can ensure our patients that we order enough stock to facilitate clinics over the Autumn Flu Vaccination Campaign.

🏠 If you are registered with us as housebound, you do not need to book an appointment via the self-booking link, our team will contact you directly and arrange your vaccination at home.

🔜 Please wait until you receive an invitation before trying to book an appointment, we will keep our patients fully informed once clinics have been released.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Heat alert and keeping our patients safe:

With the current heat alert and extremely high temperatures, we have decided to make some adaptations to our appointments over the next 3 days to try to keep our patients safe and cool.

If you have a pre-booked face to face appointment over the next 3 days, you would have received a text to offer you the option of a telephone consultation instead as we understand that some patients may not wish to leave their homes during the heatwave.

The surgery will be open as usual during the extreme temperatures, however, we would encourage patients to avoid coming to the surgery during the hottest hours of the day where possible and keep well hydrated.

If you require any further assistance or guidance in relation to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact our reception team on 01622 755401.

MTW stroke advisory group:

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust's (MTW’s) stroke team has recently launched a stroke advisory group. It is for anyone who has experienced stroke care at MTW to share their experiences with the aim of helping to shape and develop our stroke services.

The next meeting will be on Monday, 7 September from 10am to 12pm, in Unit D at Hermitage Court, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, ME16 9NT.
