Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

At Barty House we place great emphasis on rehabilitation and improving mobility. We are able to offer private physiotherapy treatment in your own room. After an initial assessment, a program of therapy will be designed to maximise your potential. You will be charged independently of the Nursing Home, and the fee structure will be discussed with you prior to commencement of treatment. Palliative Care

🏆 WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION🏆

A massive congratulations to Jean, who played brilliantly and was officially crowned our brand-new boules champion at Barty House Nursing Home today.

Everyone showed amazing skills during the matches, but Jean took the crown and proudly took home the top spot.

Well done Jean 🎉

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the talented Joy Dey to our home yesterday🎤✨

She put on an incredible performance that had our residents smiling, clapping, and singing along.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Liam Joseph who entertained our residents with his fantastic singing. There were plenty of smiles, lots of armchair dancing and everyone had a lovely time 😊 Thank you, Liam, for bringing so much joy to our home.

Today, our wonderful activities team treated our residents to a delicious pâté tasting session.🥖🧀

Our residents sampled a fantastic variety of flavours, including:

* 🇧🇪 Brussels pâté
* 🍄 Mushroom pâté
* 🐓 Chicken liver pâté
* 🪵 Ardennes pâté

Every single bite was served alongside a selection of tasty crackers, followed by refreshing drinks and plenty of smiles.

We are having the most wonderful day here at Barty House.

Today, our residents and their furry companions gathered for a beautiful Teddy Bears' Picnic.

We’ve been enjoying a delicious spread of picky bits, sharing stories together, and listening to some fantastic music.

Thank you to our amazing Activities team for putting this together, and to our residents for bringing so much joy to the afternoon☀️🎶

🎷 An Afternoon with Ocean Blue! 🎶

Barty House Care Home was filled with music and laughter today thanks to a fantastic performance by Ocean Blue and his brilliant sidekick!

From smooth saxophone melodies and lively harmonica tunes to hilarious custom song lyrics, they kept everyone giggling and singing along.

A truly wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all! 💙💛
