I heard a story about a soldier stationed in Indian during WW2, who during his leave days would pack a bag and go off walking for days on end into the jungle. 🌳
On one of these adventures and after a days walking in the hot sun, he found a shaded spot and went to sleep. 💤
At some point he awoke and upon opening his eyes he could see that lying beside him was a black panther.
This panther had its back to the solider, but it seemed to sense the soldier was wake and turned to face him.
Both the soldier and the black panther looked into each other’s eyes, lingered for a moment, but then both went back to sleep. 😴
When the soldier next awoke the black panther had gone.
I think this story tells us something about feeling safe with something.
Neither the soldier or the black panther felt threatened and so were able to embrace sleep and know that all would be well.
It’s the same in a sound healing session and it can be a healthy sign that if an attendee falls asleep they are able to do because they feel safe in the process and with the sound healer. 🥰And sleep itself is part of nature because the sleep process allows time to heal and repair.
