I had such a fun morning teaching at Buttercups Goat Sanctuary 🐐 !

Thanks to Louisa and Ella from The Louella Group for inviting me to teach and to the sanctuary for having us. It’s always a joy to teach yoga outside, and was so lovely (and funny!) having the goats happily wandering around whilst we practised yoga in the sunshine ☀️ 🙏

I’m teaching a Summer Yin Yoga Workshop at the Bodhicharya UK Buddhist Centre in Rochester next month 😊

The workshop will bring together relaxing yin yoga postures and mindfulness practice with teachings about how to cultivate balance during the warmer, longer (and often busier!) days of summer.

It will be lovely to teach at Bodhicharya UK Buddhist Centre again - it’s such a welcoming and peaceful space to hold these workshops ☺️

I’m really happy to be teaching a Spring Yin Yoga Workshop at the Bodhicharya UK Buddhist Centre in Rochester next month 😊

The workshop will bring together gentle movement, yin yoga postures and mindfulness practice with teachings about how to cultivate balance as we move into the new season of Spring.

Looking forward to sharing this workshop at .wellbeing on Friday 😊

Join me at 6.30pm for an hour of gentle yoga and guided meditation, a relaxing and grounding way to begin the weekend 😌🙏

This month, we’ll explore a practice known as Calm Abiding meditation. This practice, rooted in the Buddhist tradition, invites us to bring our attention to an object (for example our breath), and simply keep returning to this object throughout the practice.

As the name suggests, Calm Abiding meditation can help to settle and calm the mind by giving us a gentle focus and the mind a job to do - which is especially helpful when our mind feels busy.

As we focus on this object in a relaxed way, we can observe the fluctuations of the mind without getting too involved or too distracted.

This can be a helpful tool if you are new to meditation and also a supportive regular practice, especially when things feel a bit full on and/or unsettled.

Here’s all the details for my Monday evening class at Detling Village Hall for anyone looking to join a new yoga class or return back to yoga after a break 😊

The class is open to everyone, whether you’re new to yoga or have been practising a while.

The style is slow, mindful and invites you to move and flow with your breath. We begin with simple movements sequencing towards strengthening standing postures, balances and poses, closing with a guided relaxation.

Each week we have a different theme, exploring some of the foundational principles of yoga that support our body, energy and mind.

Excited to share that Flowstone Wellbeing Studio are running an early bird promotion on workshops in February 🙂. If you book on to my Moving into Meditation workshop before 15th February it’s only £8.

This monthly workshop brings together gentle yoga and guided meditation. We’ll practise yoga poses to prepare body and mind for seated meditation practice, before exploring meditation techniques to help to settle and observe the mind and our inner experience. Join me for this relaxing and grounding start to the weekend 😌

Join me for a gentle yoga class, exploring yoga poses and movements that help to improve mobility and strength. The class is relaxing for mind, bringing in mindfulness and breathing practices too.

This is open to everyone, whether you’re completely new to yoga or have more experience. As well as practising together, there’s time at the beginning to chat and connect with others in this friendly class 😊
