FAQ: What resources will I get if I book a hypnobirthing course?

When you book a hypnobirthing course, you get a folder of key notes from the course, a book that is really good to read alongside the course, positive affirmation cards, a mandala colouring book, and a lovely canvas bag.

But the support doesn't end there... You will also have access to loads of fact sheets which are being updated all the time. We also have a long reading list and a list of websites that can give you more information on certain things.

And you also have me! My support doesn't end when you're course finishes. I'm here for anything you need after our sessions finish 🥰

Back from a wonderful, relaxing family holiday in the beautiful Brecon Beacons and straight back into teaching tonight 🥰 The start of a busy couple of months teaching couples and celebrating our daughter's 3rd birthday next week. Before a busy couple of months, I'm taking a week off and we are currently holidaying in the Brecon Beacons! ✨Positive Birth Affirmation✨

This is one of the three biggest reasons for induction: big or small baby. Even though the NICE Guidelines say that a suspected big or small baby alone is not a reason to induce early or recommend a c-section. They say that women should be supported to go into labour naturally and make informed choices about their birth.

Adopting the right position and breathing correctly are the best things to do to deliver a big or small baby safely. However, your body rarely grows a baby that is too big for your body.

FAQ: Is hypnobirthing safe and will I be "out of it"?

This is a great question because so many people think that hypnobirthing involves me hypnotising you. It's absolutely not that at all.

Being in a state of hypnosis is your normal, every day, relaxed self so in hypnobirthing we teach you how to go into that state, staying calm and deeply relaxed 💆‍♀️

It's very safe, and very beneficial to you and baby. If you're calm and relaxed, baby will also feel those benefits and have a much more gentle entry into the world 🤱

Thank you so much to L&A for sharing their birth story. Although her birth didn't go to plan, she was still able to use her hypnobirthing techniques to stay calm and in control.

She was also very in tune with her body, feeling when she was ready to start delivering, even when the midwives were unsure.

People always ask "does hypnobirthing guarantee my birth to go to plan?" And the honest answer is no. Birth is unpredictable and doesn't always go to plan but the important thing is to stay in control, calm and empowered.
