Mya had such a brilliant OT session this week! ✨

Creating our own little spa experience, exploring different sounds, scents and textures, alongside hand massage and lots of opportunities to notice, explore and share these experiences together.

It was such a lovely way to support sensory exploration, regulation and connection, whilst working on hand skills and purposeful movement, always following Mya’s lead and giving her time to engage with each experience in her own way. 💜

And it must have been pretty relaxing… she even had a little snooze at the end! 😴✨

We're so proud to officially open our dedicated occupational therapy centre at Lakelands, Stanway - a purpose-built space designed for children, equipped with everything our OT team needs to deliver exceptional therapy.

Lakelands is fully accessible, with Changing Places facilities, a dedicated sensory room, and a fully accessible playground - because every child deserves a space that works for them.

From sensory integration and motor skills to school readiness and EHCP assessments, our growing OT team is here and ready to help children across North Essex and beyond.

They work together.
They look after their young and help them learn the skills they need to thrive.

Because Carly has started calling the team the GLOTTERS…

Committed to their experience.
Committed to getting right into the play alongside them.

Even when that means getting absolutely covered in it 😂

Because sometimes, you’ve got to get stuck in to help a child get stuck into their goals. 💜
