This week we had the great pleasure of being introduced to the Sango Festival by some of our Yoruba staff. They put on an impressive display in our Bistro. Including music, history, food, traditional dress, drumming, singing and dancing.

It was truly an amazing experience, that our residents greatly enjoyed. Thank You to everyone that got involved.

Heroes don't always wear capes... sometimes they have four paws. 🐾❤️

Rosie, our wonderful Pets as Therapy dog, and her owner Pauline are true heroes to us at Windsor Court. Just six months ago, after passing her Pets as Therapy assessment, Rosie made her very first care home visit to Windsor Court, and we've been lucky enough to watch her confidence and skills grow ever since.

Today, Rosie visits care homes, hospitals, and many other settings, spreading comfort, smiles, and companionship wherever she goes. Our residents absolutely adore her, and it's easy to see why.

But Rosie isn't the only star of the team. Pauline has built such special relationships with our residents, taking the time to get to know each and every one of them. She remembers their names, listens to their stories, and always brings warmth and kindness with every visit.

Together, Rosie and Pauline brighten our residents' days week after week, and we couldn't be more grateful. They are both true heroes in our eyes. 💙

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Malvern for supporting two of our residents on a trip to the top of the Malvern Hills.

Every year the Rotary Club organize and fund trips to the top of the Worcestershire Beacon, giving those who struggle to access our beautiful hills, an opportunity to experience them.

Sue and Nancy greatly enjoyed their outing,it was a clear sunny day and they had a truly memorable time.

A massive thank you to our Debutots and their families for joining us for our special 'Summer Beach Party'. It was a wonderful afternoon, filled with laughter and love. We played with the parachute and sang together, enjoyed making boats and sailing them in the paddling pool. We ended with ice cream sundaes, which went down a treat.

Celebrating 5 Wonderful Years of Windsor Court! 🎉

We recently celebrated a very special 5-year milestone as Windsor Court.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible colleagues, wonderful residents, supportive relatives and everyone who has been part of our journey over the past five years.

Together, you have helped create the warm, welcoming, and vibrant community that Windsor Court is today.

Our birthday celebrations were filled with music, laughter, great company and happy memories, while a special exhibition gave us the chance to reflect on just how much we have achieved together.

Here's to five fantastic years of care, friendship, and community, and to many more wonderful years ahead!

We made the most of our garden by moving some activities outside.

Saturdays word games was a hit and so was Debutots, when 12 local children and their child minders joined us for a really special morning of intergenerational fun.

Last week, those who live with us had the chance to highlight members of the Windsor Court team that they think are Heros.

We collated all the lovely comments and created hero certificates and masks and presented them to the team.
