Struggling with poor sleep? Craniosacral therapy may help encourage deeper relaxation by calming the nervous system- encouraging it to move from a fight or flight state into rest & digest. Using a gentle, light touch it aims to release tension, leaving you feeling more balanced, comfortable and ready for restful sleep. If you think this might help you, DM me for an appointment.

You are always in a process of change and renewal. Craniosacral therapy supports you ❤️

Welcome to a Craniosacral therapy session at Wellsprings House. Every session begins with a gentle conversation, giving you the space to share how you’re feeling and what you’d like from our time together. This helps me to understand how best to support you. Then, you simply lie down fully clothed and allow yourself to relax. Craniosacral therapy uses light contact on different areas of the body, including the head, back & feet. It can help reduce or relieve tension and encourage a deeper sense of relaxation. During our session, you may notice tingling, warmth, muscle releases- or you may simply drift off to sleep. A quiet, safe space for you- to slow down, let go of stress or anxiety, and allow your body to soften, unwind and find balance again. If you think this may help you, just DM to book your session.

Wellspringshouse DM to book

“I love Craniosacral therapy because I can see change as it happens.”
“Hello everyone, I’m Linda. For the past 5 years I’ve had the privilege of offering Craniosacral therapy. Often, clients come to me when they’re carrying long-standing or heavy burdens. This could be chronic pain or fatigue, bereavement and grief, anxiety, trauma or the kind of long term tension that they just can’t seem to shake off on their own. I strive to make my room at Wellsprings House a safe space to gradually let some of the pressure ease and the tension release. I use light, gentle and supportive touch (over clothing), to help your body/mind find its own way to let go, at its own pace. Together we can find a way for your system to begin the process of long-term and sustainable change. It’s not a quick fix. But over time it’s possible for your nervous system to learn how to let go safely. If you have a moment, I invite you to press play and find out more. At 19, Lucy wasn’t expecting Craniosacral Therapy to help with the neck, shoulder and back tension caused by intense gym training.
When most people think of Craniosacral Therapy (CST), they don’t tend to picture young adults who regularly work out at the gym.
But CST can support people of all ages, helping the body release tension and find a deeper sense of ease and relaxation.
Recently, Lucy came for a session after experiencing ongoing tightness from intense training.
I love sharing stories like Lucy’s because they remind us that wellbeing isn’t about age. It’s about listening to what your body is asking for and finding the support that feels right for you.
If you’re experiencing muscle soreness, tightness or tension, and are looking for a gentle, non-invasive approach, Craniosacral Therapy may be worth exploring.

This is the College where I trained ❤️

“40 years – and what massive changes have arisen in the Cranio-Sacral field during those 40 years.

When the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CCST) was formed by Thomas Attlee in 1986 as the first college of cranio-sacral therapy, the only other person teaching cranial work outside of osteopathic colleges was John Upledger in the USA, and cranio-sacral therapy was almost totally unknown.

Since then, CCST has trained thousands of students, many other trainings have emerged (some of them created by CCST graduates) and cranio-sacral therapy and cranio-sacral trainings are now available in the vast majority of countries across the world. What a transformation!

The cranio-sacral system that we are engaging with is everything about the person, their whole life story - their birth, their childhood, their emotional state, every injury, illness, shock, and trauma that they have ever experienced, their history, their personality, their lifestyle, their whole being, everything about them. This is one of the many factors which make the CCST training so transformative.“

CCST provides the opportunity to train as a professional Cranio-Sacral Therapist with the most established college of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, leading the field with over 40 years experience of training Cranio-Sacral Therapists in the UK and internationally.
