A recent Injury at the Rugby. Player sustained full tear of the acromioclavicular ligament requiring surgery intervention.

The Majority of these injuries are caused by direct trauma to the lateral side of the shoulder while the arm is at the side, forcing the Shoulder blade downwards, tearing the ligaments connecting it to the clavicle.

Ankle taping for Rugby 🏉

This is just my approach for a heavy taping. There are many ways and orders others do this 👍

Step 1: Create anchors just above the achilles and at the mid foot.

Step 2: Create basket weave by using C stirrups and horseshoe stirrups alternating and overlapping covering metatarsals to create the weave effect.

Step 3: Heels locks, going around the back of the ankle to the achilles and wrapping round the calcaneus back over the mid foot to starting position.

Step 4: Figure of 6, start by ankling down to mid foot and then following back round just like the C stirrup you started with.

Step 5: Lock everything off where you put your anchors originally to reduce the taping from peeling off.
