Gentleness isn’t just how we treat others—it’s how we treat ourselves, especially the most vulnerable parts of us. So often, we default to harshness, judgement, or shame, pushing those tender parts away. But what if, instead, we met them with kindness?

Maybe it's your inner child, still carrying the wounds of the past. Maybe it’s an old version of you, one that no longer represents who you are today. Maybe you struggle to forgive that past self who did or said certain things. These parts of you don’t need punishment. They need your gentle attention.

🌿 What does that vulnerable part of you need from who you are today?

Here are some ways to practice self-gentleness:
✨ Let yourself feel your emotions without needing to fix them.
✨ Speak to yourself as you would a dear friend or a child.
✨ Give yourself a hug, say kind words to yourself - affection is what it may needs.
✨ Allow your inner child to play—colour, watch cartoons, explore, whatever rocks your boat.
✨ Write a letter from your present self to your past self. Tell them, “I forgive you.”

You are worthy of your own kindness. Stay with the fragile parts of yourself. 💛

🌟 The seasons will change. So will your feelings. 🌟

Seasonal depression is tough, but it’s temporary. Hold on to the moments of light and take care of yourself through the shadows.
