This week at S. P. Astley Funeral Directors, we had the honour and privilege of conducting the funeral service for a truly special lady.

When she settled into the care home where she lived, she quickly became affectionately known as the "Queen Bee" by those around her—a nickname that reflected the love and admiration she inspired.

To celebrate her unique personality, her floral tribute included a beautiful little bee wearing a gold crown, adding a heartfelt and personal touch that perfectly honoured her memory.

It's always a privilege to help families create meaningful tributes that tell the story of a loved one's life. 🐝💛
