Be you, they say… but what is being yourself? 💫
Therapy can help you explore this and allow you to sit with any self doubt and frustration that can arise along the way.
Can therapy make you and everything be perfect? Not really, although I often wish I had a magic wand!
Having the space to notice what’s happening for you can be a real privilege. A space where, in some cases, the therapeutic approach allows you to feel seen and centred.
As therapy progresses, hopefully the real you learns to grow and come out.
To be heard without prejudice or judgement, and to have someone’s unconditional focus on you for a while, isn’t self centred. Some of you worry that it feels self indulgent or experience guilt about having this space. We can explore those feelings too.
We spend so much time focusing on everyone else.
