Hello Facebook friends, We’re looking for kind-hearted people to help bring a smile to one of our lovely residents Rene, who is turning 103 on the 12th June by donating handwritten birthday cards.

Many older people spend birthdays alone or with very few visitors, and a simple card can make a huge difference — reminding them that they are valued, remembered, and cared for.

We would love if you could take the time to send in some birthday cards whether they be handmade or shop-bought cards filled with cheerful messages and positive wishes.

Your small act of kindness could brighten Renes special day, because turning 103 is an achievement on its own so let’s help to make it that much more special for this wonderful lady.
