📱How to use Family & Carer access in the NHS App? 📱

You can support family members and people you care for in the NHS App using Family & Carer access.

You will need your GP surgery to give you access to your family member or another person (Proxy access, which has been consented to where appropriate)❗️

Once this has been set up:
1. Log in to the NHS app
2. Select profile in the bottom right corner
3. Under your name, select Family and Carer access
4. Your family member/other persons name will appear as an option
5. Select the name of the person whose profile you want to access
6. Select switch to profile

You will now be acting on their behalf in their NHS App profile.

Once you are ready to switch back to your own profile:
1.Select "Switch back to your profile" at the top of the page
2. Select switch to my profile

It was wonderful to welcome local Veterans for a relaxed morning for coffee, conversation and companionship😊

If you are a patient at our practice and have served, or are currently service, in the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force or Reserves, please let us know. The helps us ensure you are aware of the healthcare services, support and provisions available to Veterans and serving personnel 🌟

Following the fantastic feedback we received from our previous Carers' Morning, we're delighted to be running another session and would love to welcome both familiar and new faces.

Join us on Wednesday 17th June between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

Each year 18th - 24th November, the WHO raises awareness about one of the biggest global health challenges we face: antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

💊Why it matters:
When bacteria, viruses, and other microbes become resistant to medicines, common infections become harder, sometimes impossible to treat. This affects everyone.

🛡️What we can do:
✔️Use antibiotics only when prescribed by a healthcare professional
✔️Never pressure doctors for antibiotics
✔️Complete your full treatment course
✔️Practice good hygiene to prevent infections
✔️Vaccinate when recommended
✔️Handle and prepare food safely
