It was great to visit Cohens Chemist in Ashton this morning to chat to staff about the pressures facing community pharmacies.

Pharmacies are a lifeline for people across Ashton, Audenshaw, Droylsden and Dukinfield. Whether it’s picking up prescriptions, getting health advice or accessing everyday care, so many residents rely on their local chemist.

It was really important to hear first-hand about the challenges they’re facing and the vital role they play in supporting our NHS and keeping our communities healthy.
