Yesterday’s Irwin Mitchell Amputee Conference was a brilliant opportunity to explore the latest thinking around AI, bionics, and the future of amputee rehabilitation
As a Community Occupational Therapist, much of my work involves supporting amputees and other clients with complex rehab needs to rebuild independence at home, manage anxiety, and regain confidence in getting back out into the community.

It was also great connecting with case managers and professionals who share a commitment to improving rehabilitation outcomes. A genuinely inspiring day.

We had the pleasure of attending a Being There Charity group talk this week to share some helpful tips on managing breathlessness, anxiety, fatigue and memory loss. We also held a breath work session, if you want to know more information please let us know 💚

Yesterday and I attended the Living Well with Dementia Event in Sale, hosted by . It’s such a wonderful event where families can come together and get free advice from healthcare professionals and charities supporting those to Live well with Memory Loss.

In occupational therapy, we focus on what is meaningful and purposeful to the individual, supporting goal achievement while improving wellbeing and mood.
