The best place to find me is on Instagram (rosielifenutrition), I share lots of nutrition, fertility and hormone advice and information.

About Me

I’ve always had an interest in people, which initially lead me to a career in Human Resources. Although I enjoyed my job, I always had the desire to something I was passionate about, and in my early 2

0s I realised that was health and nutrition.

I took the leap and decided to study a 3-year course in Naturopathic Nutrition at the college of Natural Medicine (London). I started my studies in September 2014 and I haven’t looked back since. I am so fortunate to have found my calling, not only in nutrition but also in the biochemistry of the body – I am constantly amazed at our body and it's capabilities given the right environment.

I have changed my own health through food - I used to see food and weight regulation as the single most important aspect of health. I never thought I would be able to use food and natural therapies to heal my hormonal imbalance (heavy and painful periods) and acne through diet and lifestyle changes. What you can do when you start to see food as medicine is truly amazing.

When I graduated from CNM I worked for the NHS on a Diabetes Prevention Programme (called X-PERT) which was a mix of nutrition advice and group coaching. I learnt loads but I knew I wanted to open my private practice, supporting women to achieve their health goals.

This is a dream come true. I love my job and feel privileged every day that individuals let me in to their lives at a time they feel most vulnerable and allow me to support them through their health challenges.

A little bit more....

I live in Manchester (Chorlton) with my husband Ben and daughter Theia. I enjoy reading, all the books I read are non-fiction and tonnes of nutrition (obviously), female health (obviously) and human behaviour books. There is nothing minimalist about my book shelves, but as Marie Kondo says 'If they bring you joy, keep them!' and they bring me so much joy!

I enjoying playing squash, salsa dancing, doing crafty bits at home (with varying success) and getting out in nature.

Anyway, this is starting to sound more like a Tinder profile, so I will leave it there. As I said at the top, the best place to find me is on Instagram.

My next Fermenting Workshop is Saturday 12th September, 2–5pm 🥬✨

And I’m particularly looking forward to this one.

Sadly, I cancelled my last workshop in July. Chorlton, Manchester was covered in smoke from wildfires, the air quality was awful and, rather than sending my kids into school in sweltering heat and smoky air, we packed up the tent and escaped for a few days. ⛺

It wasn’t an easy decision.

It was their last week of school. They were sad to miss their friends. It was my last workshop before the summer holidays. I hate cancelling work. I lost income, and the lovely people booked onto the workshop had their plans messed around.

But sometimes life and increasingly, the climate we’re living in has other ideas.

So, after a summer break, I’m VERY ready to get back around the fermenting table. 💚

Saturday 12th September | 2–5pm | Chorlton, Manchester

We’ll spend the afternoon chopping, squishing, tasting, chatting and learning how to make delicious fermented foods at home.

You’ll leave with your own ferments, recipes and the confidence to keep experimenting in your own kitchen.

No previous fermenting experience needed - just come as you are - link here to book: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/rosietadmannutrition/2355382

Why does fermenting work so well for team building? 🥬

Something changes when you get people away from their desks and give them something to make together.

At a recent workplace workshop with The Menopause Group at MSV Housing, we combined learning about gut health with getting our hands properly stuck into making sauerkraut - that's the bit I love.

People aren't staring at a screen or being asked to do an awkward "team-building exercise".They're chopping, squishing, tasting, chatting and laughing.

There's something wonderfully simple about making food together. Your hands are busy, which somehow makes conversation easier.

And at the end, everyone gets to take home something they've made themselves.

Less PowerPoint. More cabbage. 😄

I deliver (Interactive and FUN!!) nutrition talks and hands-on fermenting workshops for organisations across Manchester and the North West.

Am I the only one who's sick of seeing AI-generated posters lately?

I seem to be seeing them everywhere: corporate flyers, PTA events, school fêtes, local businesses, artists... I've even spotted them on climate change campaigns.

There's something about them that's instantly recognisable. They're colourful, glossy, everything "pops"... but so many are starting to look the same. Different messages, same aesthetic.

I've used AI myself and I completely understand why people do - It's quick, it's easy and it can produce something 'impressive' in seconds.

But I've realised I miss seeing a bit more humanity.

So for my latest corporate flyer, I kept it simple. I put it together myself in about 15 minutes. No AI-generated images. No visual overload. Just a clear message about who I am, what I do and why I'm passionate about helping organisations reconnect through food.

Ironically, as AI becomes better and better, I wonder if the things that stand out most will be the ones that feel unmistakably human.

Am I alone in this, or are other people noticing it too?

Happy Father's Day to all the dads - and dads-in-waiting - who show us what healthy masculinity looks like.

In an age of toxic online narratives and BS, I'm grateful for the fathers and men who lead by example: men who are strong without being cruel, confident without arrogance, vulnerable without shame, and protective without control.

The world needs fathers and Men who are present. Men who listen. Men who nurture. Men who take responsibility. Men who lift others up and leave the next generation better than they found it.

To all the dads and men in general doing the hard, often unseen work of showing up every day with love, patience, courage, and integrity - thank you.

Happy Father's Day to all ❤️

Brookburn Parents FUNmenting Afternoon (sorry for the pun 😐🫣😱)

What a lovely afternoon spent with Brookburn parents making kimchi and fermented salsa 😋 — perfectly timed to coincide with the Summer Solstice 🌞🌞😄

As well as running fermenting workshops at home that individuals can book onto, I also offer private workshops for groups of friends, community organisations and workplaces.

They're a great way to get together, learn something new, and have plenty of fun without the usual default of meeting at the pub for a few beers. More and more people are looking for enjoyable, alcohol-free activities, and fermentation workshops offer a hands-on, creative alternative.
Plus, everyone gets to take home some delicious ferments to enjoy! 🥬🌶️✨

Fermenting Workshop and Female Seasons 💥🔥

This workshop today was a little different - as we resurrected and remembered 2 parts of lost wisdom - Fermenting and Female Seasons 🔥

💫We chopped and chatted
💫We learnt about fermented
💫We burnt and planted our intentions (ahead of the new moon next week)
💫We sang and drank Elderflower Cordial (to celebrate the imminent Summer Solstice ☀️)
💫We felt the power of being in a group of women who want to live more 🔥

Thanks everyone - super special afternoon.

When you want to market your workshops and know 'live' videos and pictures of events are algorithm and human eye catching BUT you also want to create a space removed from modern technology - what do you do?

Take pictures in advance of course 😆- swipe through to see what a workshop with me Includes 💫 (not the same as live snap shots BUT I'd trade that off for creating a space where phones aren't in your face).

I've got a Fermenting Workshop tomorrow where we'll also be celebrating Summer Solstice which is just over a week away.

I've made Elderflower Cordial, go pick Elderflowers now as they're going to be flowering for another week or so. Unfortunately, climate change means most flowers are blooming earlier and earlier, every year. Go pick them asap.

My next 2 workshops are booked up 🫶🙌BUT my next workshop with available spaces is Sat July 18th and we'll be making Kimchi (make it spicy or not), Salsa (same - spicy or not) and kvass - yum 😋 book tickets in bio and plsss spread the word.

My First Fermenting and Gut Health Workshops was 🫶✨

We made an Apple, Orange and Dill Sauerkraut and Cucumber Chutney.

We drank fermented Soda and ate yummy fermented snacks 😋

In a world riddled with AI, efficiency hacks, doing more and being quicker - slowing down, sitting round a table learning, creating with your hands, chatting and laughing felt SO needed. A real tonic.

If you would like to come to a future fermenting workshops - I'll share a link in stories/highlights/bio.

Big Decisions 👇

I don't want a scalable business where I sell online courses ❌

I don't want to build a nutrition business based on how young or good I look ❌

I don't want an AI wellness app ❌

I don't want to feed into diet Culture BS ❌

I don't want to build a business that isn't supporting the planet ❌

I want real. Human. Connection. Joy. Pleasure. FUN.

💫I want people round a table chatting, chopping and creating.
💫I want to do community nutrition workshops that don't accidentally use diet culture frameworks and talk about 'good' and 'bad' food.
💫 I want to go into organisations and give nutrition talks where people actually feel empowered and not like they need fixing.

Who's with me?

30/04/2026

Fermenting Books 📚✨💫
BUT who wrote Culture Club, I salute you 🫶🙌💫✨ I LOVE your book - my bible 🙏😂😆
