Our residents enjoyed a lovely morning of exercise stretches with Peter! 🏃‍♀️💪 Everyone got involved, had some fun and enjoyed keeping active together. The tuck shop round was such a hit today our residents loved choosing their very own favourite treats! 🍬🍫 It’s all about giving them choice and independence, letting them pick exactly what they’d like to enjoy. Seeing their happy faces as they made their selections was absolutely lovely little moments like this mean so much! 💛

Today we went around with our lovely conversation cards — with prompts like "My favourite holiday was…", "My favourite animal…", "The best thing about being a child…", "The smell that reminds me of home…", "On a sunny day I like to…", "When I went to school I was…" and "My favourite song…" — and asked our residents to share their precious memories and stories! 📝💛

There’s no right or wrong answer, just wonderful chats, laughter, and so many beautiful moments shared. Moments like this give our residents the chance to reminisce, connect, feel heard, and share their life stories and that’s the most special thing of all. 💫

Today I went around with our lovely phrase cards and asked the residents to finish all sorts of different sayings! 🃏✨ From "As light as a feather" to lots more fun phrases, everyone had a wonderful time sharing their answers and having a good laugh together. It was such a lovely, happy activity moments like this give our residents the chance to chat, think, and feel included, and that’s what makes every day so special. 💛
