Remote CST (CranialSacral Therapy)

Craniosacral therapy works through intention, attunement and engaging the client’s energetic or biofield, which can be assessed from a distance. It is an “expansion of the practice” that utilises core craniosacral therapy skills.
The advantage of remote CST is the receiving of treatment in the safety and comfort of the client’s own home. This is particularly appealing for sensitive conditions like PTSD or for clients dealing with trauma, where remaining in a familiar, safe place can lead to greater receptivity and treatment responsiveness. Also this method is extremely beneficial if the client lives a great distance from the clinic.

Remote access is geared towards:

- Housebound individuals
- Limited mobility
- Clients who travel regularly
- Live far from CST practitioners
- Mother’s with newborn babies
- Energetic children & teenagers
- Clients with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraine & headaches
- Stress & jaw problems
- Post-viral fatigue
- Central nervous system disorders
- Scoliosis
- Post surgical dysfunction

To create inner calm there is a pressure point you can gently massage yourself to reset if you are overcome by an overactive mind, severe worry or anxiety and insomnia.
This point is located on the inner wrist crease. If you look at your palm facing up, trace down to the wrist crerase on the side closest to your smallest finger. You will feel a small hollow or dip right at the base of the wrist bone. Press firmly into the hollow with your opposite thumb and massage in tiny circles for 1-2 minutes while taking deep breaths.
