Looking for a friendly and welcoming space to meet others who understand?

Hosted by an Admiral Nurse, B’s Dementia Café offers families, friends and carers of people living with dementia the opportunity to come together, enjoy a cuppa and cake, share experiences and find support. ☕🍰

At Belong Atherton Experience Days, we provide specialist day support in a safe, welcoming environment where people living with dementia can enjoy meaningful activities, social interaction and compassionate care from our experienced team.

While your loved one enjoys a fulfilling day, you can take some well-deserved time for yourself, whether that's catching up with friends, running errands, attending appointments or simply having a chance to rest and recharge.

Jenny is part of our Experience Day team and brings colour and fun to our residents' and Experience Day customers' day. We sang happy birthday to her this morning in the venue and this afternoon in the bistro and presented her with a cake and a lovely bouquet of flowers. 💐

YEE-HA! Belong Atherton had a fabulous Western day as staff and residents dressed for the occasion; we decorated The Venue in posters that were designed by residents and staff. 🤠🌭🌵

Our fantastic Bistro served a delicious selection of loaded fries, hotdogs, southern fried chicken and smoked brisket at meal times and we ended our Western day in the Belong Ranch with our wonderful exercise specialist leading a Boot Scootin' Seated Line Dancing lesson to be sure we were all tuckered out by the end of a fun filled day.

Off we went in our Belong minibus to Sunny Southport, where we had a mouthwatering lunch of freshly caught fish and chips, followed by a deliciously cooling Ice cream along with plenty of cool drinks whilst watching local singers perform at the Marina Lake Cafe. 😎🚌

We then took ourselves off for a walk across the arena and met a family of geese grazing, Papa Goose kept a very protective eye on us. 🪿
