The second consultation before surgery is where everything becomes clear, confirmed, and carefully planned.
This appointment is not just a formality. It is a detailed and important step in preparing for your procedure, ensuring that both you and your surgeon are fully aligned and confident moving forward.
During this consultation, the surgical plan is reviewed once again in detail, allowing you to revisit your goals and confirm that the approach is tailored to your anatomy and expectations. Implant sizing is reassessed together, balancing your desired outcome with what is safely and realistically achievable.
There is also an open and honest discussion about risks, followed by the consent process, so you feel fully informed before proceeding.
Practical preparation is equally important. Measurements are taken for your postoperative garment, which plays a key role in healing and must be worn continuously for the first six weeks. You will also receive clear guidance on fasting, arrival times, and how to prepare for the day of surgery.
Finally, you will meet the wider team who will support you throughout your journey, ensuring you know exactly what to bring and what to expect during your hospital stay.
The goal is simple: no surprises, just clarity, confidence, and a well-prepared path to surgery.
