📷What a great day we had today with the Instant Camera. Taking photographs and watching them print off right in front of our eyes was amazing. We explored & talked about the different cameras we use to have when we took photos and how precious they are to us. We also explored how we take photos today, on our mobile phones and what different things we use such as filters. What a laugh the residents had using these different filters, they loved having their photo taken & wanting to show others to have a laugh. Laughs & smiles all around 😁🤣📷

✨️❤️Reminiscing❤️✨️

🩵We enjoyed reminiscing with some historical objects and photos. Looking at the different objects definitely brought back some memories and great conversations between us all. The historical photos were great to look through, from Albert Einstein, The Beatles, Winston Churchill, Lunch atop a Skyscraper and more. What great stories we had to share 🩵

✨️Looking at and reminiscing over old historical photos can form reminiscence therapy, which triggers intact long-term memories to significantly improve mood, reduce anxiety, and enhance social connection for the residents✨️

☀️🌴🦩What an amazing afternoon we had for our Summer Festival! We enjoyed great company, playing games, drinks, food, music, dancing & singing along! We also enjoyed some yummy sweet treats from Totally Sweet, which were amazing, thank you. Congratulations to all winners & thank you to everyone that came today & joined in with all the fun!☀️🌴🦩
