Responsible breeding doesn't stop when puppies leave for their new homes. Those first few weeks with their new families are incredibly important, and the advice and support they receive can make a real difference.

That's why we created the Smart Pup Breeder Scheme! 🧡

We want to help responsible breeders give their puppies and new owners the best possible start, with access to reward-based training advice, practical guidance and ongoing support.

🐾 Breeders can order our Month One Smart Pup boxes at a special discounted breeder price.

🐾 Each puppy goes home with their very own Smart Pup box, packed with useful resources to help their new family navigate puppy ownership.

🐾 New owners can then continue their Smart Pup journey with our monthly subscription boxes, supporting them as their puppy grows and develops with a special breeder pup discount.

🐾 Smart Pup Tip #1 – Look for the Good Stuff!

One of the most useful things you can do when raising a puppy is learn to notice all the behaviours you like.

We tend to notice when puppies get things wrong. Jumping up, biting, barking, stealing things or generally causing chaos. 😂

But how often do we notice when they're getting things right?

Your puppy settles themselves on their bed, chooses to walk beside you, looks at you when something interesting happens or sits quietly while you're making a cup of tea.

These are all opportunities for reinforcement!

The more we notice and reinforce desirable behaviours, the more opportunities we create for those behaviours to develop and become part of our puppy's everyday repertoire.

You don't always need to ask your puppy to do something before you reward them. Sometimes the best training happens when you're simply paying attention.
