A little bit about me.....

My name is Liz and I’m a therapist, but more importantly, I’m a real person who understands that sometimes life just feels… a lot.

I’m here to offer you a safe, warm and a non judgemental space, somewhere you can talk honestly about whatever is on your mind.

I support people with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem, life changes and the challenges that come with simply being human.

Sometimes you might know exactly what you need help with. Other times, you might just feel overwhelmed, stuck or not quite yourself. That’s okay too.

My approach is down to earth, compassionate and centred around you. There’s no judgement, no pressure and no expectation that you have to have all the answers.

Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me happiest out in nature walking, listening and spotting birds, especially the birds of prey and getting some fresh. I think there’s something really grounding about stepping outside, slowing down and giving yourself a little space to breathe.

And that’s what I hope therapy can feel like too, a space to pause, breathe, offload and make sense of things.
You don’t have to carry everything on your own.

I’m here when you’re ready. Feel free to drop me a message, the first step is the hardest, but may just be the best thing you do.

Finding the cosy in winter

The nights are drawing in, I could feel this tonight on my walk, a regular route I do all year round.

In summer, I feel calm, motivated and full of energy. The lighter evenings make it easier to get outside, be active and feel connected and i generally feel in a better mood.

Then the darker, colder days arrive, and sometimes my mood and motivation can dip.

Getting outside and going for a walk can be so good for our mental health, whatever the weather.
A crisp, cold morning.
A grey, drizzly afternoon.
The sound of rain.
The fresh air on your face
Perhaps winter doesn't have to be something we simply get through.

So as the days get colder and darker, wrap up warm, put on your shoes and step outside.
Your mind might thank you for it.

What if we looked for the positives in the cosy season?

Enjoying warm drinks and comforting food
Making space to read, reflect and rest
Cosy evenings at home
Getting outside and noticing the beauty of the changing season
Giving ourselves permission to have slower days Focusing on small moments that bring warmth and joy

We can't control the changing seasons, but we can be gentle with ourselves as they change.
So as the nights draw in, perhaps the question isn't “How do I survive winter?”

Maybe it's “How can I make this season feel good for me?”

What do you love about the colder, darker months?

Hey everyone, my name is Liz and here is a little bit about me and the counselling service I offer.

I run my small counselling service from my home I share with my family. I love walking, spending time with my family and friends, a hot cup of tea and cake!

I’m an Integrative Counsellor, here to support you in navigating life’s challenges in a way that feels right for you. I believe there’s no “one size fits all” approach to therapy — instead, I draw on different methods to create a space that’s tailored to your needs, at your pace.

I have a counselling room based in my garden office.

Being outdoors is something I truly value, so I also offer a walk a talk therapy option, I love bringing the sense of grounding, fresh perspective, and connection that nature can offer.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of someone to talk to, you’re not alone — and you’re very welcome here.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more 🤍

💫Counselling sessions available 💫

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to?

You don’t have to face everything alone. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without judgment. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or simply need support through a difficult time, counselling can help you find clarity and regain balance.

My counselling service offers:
• A supportive and compassionate environment
• Time and space to talk openly
• Guidance to help you better understand yourself
• Tools to cope with life’s challenges
Taking the first step can feel difficult, but it can also be the start of positive change.

If you’re ready to talk, send me a message or email me at [email protected] to find out more or book a session.

Endings in counselling can feel tender.

They hold gratitude, growth, and sometimes a quiet sadness too.

Taking time to notice what’s changed — and what’s been carried forward — is part of the work.

Every ending honours the journey that happened in the space between.

A beautiful card from a client with such kind words of thanks and daffodils which mark new growth is why I feel so privileged to sit in the seat I do, it allows them to do the work in a safe non judgemental space.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me on my counselling journey and to my clients past and present who have trusted me at your most vulnerable time. It's a privilege and an honour to support you all.

Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas, remember to be kind to yourself over this time as it can be a lot at times.

I am back on the 5th January 2026 for now I am going to take a leaf out of my own book and take some time for me to rest, recharge ready for a new year ahead.

Thanks
Liz 💫

Therapy helps you understand your emotions, rewrite your patterns, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels free.
In therapy, you learn that your feelings make sense, your experiences matter, and you’re never as alone as you thought. 💫

Therapy teaches you to pause before reacting, to speak to yourself with kindness, and to build a life that feels aligned—not just busy.

The best part of therapy? Discovering that the little shifts add up to big change.

I have some availability starting in the new year, feel free to message, text on 07809 469 546 or email me at [email protected]

Taking the first step is the hardest one, but you won't regret it.
