💜🩷 YOUR HOME CARE ANNUAL BBQ 2026 🩷💜

Yesterday we held our annual Your Home Care BBQ, bringing together our amazing staff, wonderful clients and their families for a day of celebration! 🎉

And what a day it was!

We had a fantastic turnout from our care teams and their families, clients and their loved ones with some of our brilliant staff even helping transport clients so they could join us for the day. 💜

The food was beautiful, cooked by our very own Co-Founder Paul (The Grill King), we had inflatables for the children, prize bingo for the adults (ran by Marion) and, most importantly, plenty of laughter and time spent together. 🍔🎈🎟️

There are a few BIG thank yous we need to give…

💜 Paul & Scott for making the BBQ happen every year and continuing to support and celebrate everything the Your Home Care team achieves.

🩷 Our incredible care teams both in the community and the office, the heart of Your Home Care. Thank you for the unbelievable care, compassion and dedication you show our clients every single day. We couldn’t be prouder of the standards you continue to maintain.

💜 Our wonderful clients and their families. Thank you for coming along and celebrating with us. Having you there is what makes days like this so special.

🩷 Johnson Bros -Tours – a huge thank you for allowing us to take over the entire car park for the day!

💜 Marshall's Events. Thank you for providing the inflatables and keeping the children entertained!

🩷 Mainstream Foods – thank you for supplying the fantastic food. It was absolutely delicious!

Days like this remind us that Your Home Care is about so much more than providing care – it’s about people, relationships and community.

It was another fantastic day for the company and an opportunity to celebrate another year of being rated Outstanding, something we remain incredibly proud of and grateful for. ⭐️

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the biggest Junior Darts event in the East Midlands with Nottinghamshire Darts Academy . We're very proud to be part of this growing community sport and looking forward to seeing the talented academy youngsters on show.

If any of our staff's children are playing in this event, please contact Paul or Scott asap as we'd like to cover the cost of your event tickets.

Older Persons Day is a community event designed to bring together local services, support organisations, charities and businesses in one welcoming space for older people, their families, carers and local residents across Amber Valley. 🤝💜

The aim of the day is to make it easier for people to access helpful information, advice and support by speaking face-to-face with real people from local organisations. 🗣️ℹ️

Many older people can find it difficult to know where to turn for help or may not feel confident reaching out for support. This event gives attendees the opportunity to ask questions, find out what services are available locally and connect with organisations that may be able to help them or someone they care about. 💬🌟

👥 Who is the event for?

This event is open to:

👵 Older people living in Amber Valley and surrounding areas
👨‍👩‍👧 Family members and friends who help support an older person
💙 Carers and unpaid carers
🏘️ Local residents who want to learn more about support available in the community
📋 Anyone planning ahead for future care, wellbeing or support needs

🤝 What support will be available?

The event will bring together organisations that can provide information and guidance around areas such as:

❤️ Health and wellbeing
🏠 Care and support at home
💷 Financial and legal advice
🎨 Community groups and social activities
🛡️ Safety, independence and living well
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Information and guidance for families and carers

Attendees will be able to speak directly with local organisations, ask questions, pick up useful information and find out what support is available across Amber Valley. 📚💬
