Well… this wasn’t quite how I expected recording my intro video to go 😂

The footstool decided to tip me off it and, thankfully, the whole thing was caught on camera 🤣

I did carry on recording afterwards though… because apparently I was committed to the content 😂

This chair isn’t for reliving your past.

One of the biggest misconceptions about therapy is that you’ll spend every session talking about everything that’s ever happened to you.

And for many people, that’s what they imagine therapy is.

Sitting in the same chair, week after week, reliving painful memories, telling the same story over and over, hoping that one day it will stop hurting.

That’s not how I work.

Of course, I need to understand enough about what’s brought you here. Your experiences matter. Your story matters.

But we don’t need to keep living inside it.

My focus isn’t on endlessly analysing the past. It’s on helping your mind and body learn something new.

That you are safe.

That you are capable.

That your nervous system can settle.

That you already have strengths, resources and resilience that may have been buried beneath stress, anxiety or difficult experiences.

When your brain and body begin to trust that again, something shifts.

You stop feeling trapped by what happened.

You start responding differently.

You make decisions with more confidence.

Life begins to feel lighter.

This isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen.

It’s about making sure it doesn’t keep deciding your future.

✨ If you’ve been putting off therapy because you thought it meant endlessly talking about your past, perhaps it’s time to discover a different approach.

Send me a message if you’d like to find out how I work, or book a free Connection Call. Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to realise that moving forward can feel very different from what you expected.

P.S - online appointments also available, you can sit in your own comfy chair 😀

The “leave it with me” person doesn’t say yes because they want more on their plate.
They say yes because saying no feels like it might cost them something bigger …being seen as unreliable, letting someone down, not being “the one who copes.” It’s a classic people-pleaser move, dressed up as helpfulness.

So the lunch break goes. Then it’s not just at work…
It’s “can you drop me here” with no warning. It’s “have you seen my...” shouted from another room, without anyone actually looking first. It’s one more thing, one more ask, one more “yeah, of course”, until you’re carrying the entire mental load on your own, standing in the kitchen feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated, and like you could just hide in the cupboard under the stairs and cry.😢

Where did you go?
The emotional and physical cost of carrying on this way is high. Boundaries aren’t selfish, they’re how you stay in the story instead of disappearing from your own life. When you’re ready to end the cycle that’s keeping you last on your own list, use the link in my bio to book a free, no-pressure connection call.

Is it time for a re-introduction? Let’s do it 😀

Hi, I’m Sarah. 👋

I’m happiest with an Earl Grey in my hand, colourful nails, a walk through the woods and my chaotic but cuddly miniature schnauzer somewhere nearby.

I spend my days helping people find their way back to themselves.

Not by becoming someone new, but by letting go of the old stories, self-doubt and survival habits that have quietly dimmed their light over the years.

Because when people reconnect with who they really are, something wonderful happens.

Life feels lighter.
Decisions become easier.
Confidence grows naturally.
And that missing sparkle starts to return.

If you’re new here, welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. 😊

Now tell me… what’s one little thing that brings you back to yourself?

Happy 6th Birthday to me!! 🎈 🥳

(Soppy, sentimental post incoming)

Six years ago today I qualified in the midst of a pandemic.

Since then, the learning hasn’t stopped as I went on to gain the advanced hypnotherapy diploma as well as adding in other modalities and techniques, most recent of which being somatic yoga!

I still adore the work I do, even more than before as it continues to evolve into something truly special and impactful. Not just changing my life but the lives of so many for the better 🥰

Am I burnt out or just tired?

It's one of the most googled questions around right now, and honestly? It makes complete sense that so many of us are asking it.

Because burnout doesn't always look like a dramatic crash. More often it looks like pushing through each day on willpower alone. Living off your nerves. Feeling like rest doesn't touch the sides.

If any of that sounds familiar, my latest blog is for you.

In it I cover:
✔ What burnout really feels like (it's probably not what you think)
✔ The early signs to look out for before things escalate
✔ Why you genuinely can't think or rationalise your way out of it
✔ Where recovery actually has to begin
✔ Some simple, practical things you can start doing today

You don't have to hit the wall to turn things around. The earlier you catch it, the easier it is to find your way back to yourself.

Burnout rarely announces itself loudly. More often it creeps in quietly, a growing awareness that you’re pushing through each day on willpower alone. You’re functioning, yes. But it takes so much more effort than it used to. The things that once energised you start to feel like yet another thing...

I’ve been seeing Sarah for over 6 months and she has really helped me. Sarah is really warm and immediately put me at ease. She had amazing knowledge of the brain and nervous system which really helped me to understand myself better. I’m a professional with a stressful job and so the work with me has really helped! I’ll be going back to Sarah as and when I need her for any issues I have in the future. Thank you Sarah!
