💭 Memory Box Reminiscing 💭

This morning we have been looking through our individual memory boxes, taking time to talk about the special objects, photographs and keepsakes inside them. 📸❤️

Each item brought back a story, a memory or a special moment from the past, and it was lovely listening to everyone's stories.

A truly meaningful morning filled with smiles, laughter and lots of wonderful memories! 💚

🏖️🏐 Beach Ball Fun! 🏐🏖️

This morning we got the beach ball out and started off by throwing it back and forth. Before long, the group kept growing and we had everyone joining in! 😄

We enjoyed a mixture of throwing, kicking and even added a little bit of volleyball into the mix! 🏐⚽️

There was lots of laughter, plenty of movement and some great teamwork.

A very fun morning was had by all! 💚

🎯 Games Afternoon!

This afternoon we enjoyed playing a variety of fun games! 😊

We had a go at the Beat the Buzz Wire, which really got us concentrating and working on our hand-eye coordination. We also enjoyed some table football and had lots of fun playing games on the tablet, including Tic-Tac-Toe, Air Hockey and Jigsaws. 🧩⚽️📱

There was plenty of concentration, friendly competition and, most importantly, lots of smiles and laughter! ❤️

⭐️💜 Colleague of the month for August is Jorja our Senior Care Assistant💜⭐️

Jorja is a true advocate for our residents and a fantastic support to her colleagues, consistently going above and beyond in everything she does.
During our most recent inspection, Jorja went out of her way to engage with the inspectors, asking if they needed anything and being keen to showcase the excellent work that she and the wider team do every day. Her confidence, enthusiasm and genuine pride in the care we provide really stood out.
Jorja always puts our residents at the heart of what she does and is committed to ensuring they receive the very best care and support. She is also a valued colleague who is always willing to help, encourage and support others.
Her dedication, positive attitude and passion for making a difference makes Jorja a very deserving Colleague of the Month. Thank you, Jorja, for everything you do!

🇮🇹 Bon Voyage Club – Italy! 🇮🇹

We ended our fabulous trip to Italy with some pizza making! 🍕

Everyone had lots of fun choosing from a variety of delicious toppings and creating their own pizzas. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

And of course, the best part was enjoying our delicious homemade pizzas for tea yesterday! 😋🍕

What a perfect way to finish our Italian adventure! ❤️🇮🇹

This morning we have been getting creative and making our very own Italian memory boards! 🇮🇹❤️

Our residents picked pictures and images that reminded them of their wonderful memories and time away in Italy. From beautiful scenery to delicious food and special places, it was lovely hearing everyone share their memories and stories. 🍕🍝☀️

This afternoon we had our fabulous in-house guinea pigs, Bubble and Squeak, out for some cuddles and attention.

These little fellas bring so much joy to our residents, while also bringing back lovely memories of having pets of their own.

There were lots of smiles, cuddles and happy memories shared this afternoon! 💚
