We have been made aware of ongoing roadworks on Nottingham Road.

These roadworks are in place from today and are scheduled to continue until 21 August.

Currently, the road is closed when travelling from Mansfield towards West Notts College; however, this may change over the coming days and weeks.

Please plan ahead if you are attending the crematorium during this period and allow extra time for your journey where possible.

We are so proud to play a very small part in this wonderful group.

Everyone who enters the door will be greeted with warmth and open arms.

It’s a safe place, a place you can talk, a space for you to hear you’re not alone in this journey but also a place where friendships are built.

It’s available every month, free to attend and of course, we will have the kettle on ☕️

As we come to the end of the week with temperatures soaring from the heatwave, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our dedicated staff for their hard work and commitment.

The cleaning team, gardeners and operational staff, who continued to work tirelessly in challenging conditions, ensuring our grounds and facilities remained cared for.

We’d also like to thank our office team, who helped keep families and funeral staff cool, hydrated and cared for during their time with us

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do, whatever the weather.

Thank you to all those families who attended today’s Father’s Day memorial service, we hope you found comfort in attending such a special and meaningful service.

A huge thank you to Lives Celebrated - Mansfield funeral and wedding celebrant Wayne Swiffin who delivered such a beautiful service with help from friends across the wider bereavement service Ken Gregory & Sons Funeral Directors, Funeralcare and A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service

We raised an amazing £230.85 which will go to John Eastwood Hospice to help fund the incredible work they do with families 💙

This service is free to attend and is open to anyone wishing to take time to reflect and remember the fathers and father figures who are no longer with us

If you would like a photo of your loved one to be shown during the service, please email it to [email protected]

A member of our team will confirm once your photo has been received

All donations recieved on the day will go to John Eastwood Hospice
