Today was one of the hardest so far, the Mace family dynasty and friends spent it saying goodbye to my precious grandma at her funeral.
We had a special bond that started 60 years ago, a love that never waivered and a friendship that will never be matched again. There were many times that i called her for support and help that only she could handle. So many times she was my rock and my grandma in shining armour and through some hard times that i'm so grateful for.
Most of the time she was stubborn, opinionated and bossy but she had so much perseverance, courage and determination to ensure she lived every day to its full. i'm so honoured to have been part of those days.
So many family and friends came today to say their final goodbyes, shed their tears and embrace her life. It was hard but we gave her a good send off.
Her legacy carries on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved each and everyone of us and was so proud of us all.
Her day has been made even more special by the solar eclipse that so few of us will ever get to experience in a lifetime.
she was my grandma, she was someone special and all of us from her children downwards are honoured to have experienced her in our lifetime, she is our own solar eclipse 🪽🪽
She will always remain in our hearts, our thoughts and be our guiding light for Mace generations yet to come 💔💔💔💔
Grandad can now hold her in his arms and embrace her, Kaths got a huge hug coming her way and probably a ticking off🤦♀️
We can all be reassured that she's is now in good hands and that they will look after her for us ❤️❤️❤️
Grandma, Grandad, Kath, you have left such a big hole in our family but we will all ensure that your memory carries on. We love and miss you all 😞😞😞
