🌱🥔 Harvesting the rewards of our hard work! ☀️💚

Yesterday, our Activity Coordinator Bri enjoyed a peaceful one-to-one gardening session with one of our lovely residents in Berry Hill Care Home’s very own allotment. Together they harvested a wonderful selection of fresh produce, including new potatoes and beautiful rhubarb chard! 🥔🌿😋

There’s nothing quite like spending time outdoors, tending to the garden and enjoying the rewards of months of care and patience. It was a lovely morning filled with fresh air, smiles, and plenty of home-grown goodness ready to be enjoyed by everyone! 🌼😊

A trip to Matlock Bath today with Claire Wellbeing Coordinator and Louise driving our mini bus.

We met up with a residents family to enjoy a meal together at the Riverside Fish and Chips Restaurant.

A woodland walk followed a blackberry lined pathway along Lovers Walk by the Derwent River.

On the way back to our mini bus we called into Halls of Derbyshire for a delicious ice cream.A perfect ending of a day enjoyed by all.

Residents are enjoying the rest of the summer days making the most of the decent weather. Our garden makes an additional space for games and having fun.So Claire and Sophie from the Wellbeing team set about finding things to do.

Join us in the garden for a few games of skittles,gentle exercises with parachute games or just weeding the raised garden beds.There is something for everyone and always a cup of tea nearby. games pin bowling games.
