We are so excited to announce the beach day has been confirmed for our lovely residents and their families.

With live music, food, ice cream van and lots of games to be played for all the family!

What a lovely Saturday our wonderful residents have had!
This morning we kicked off with some prize bingo a residents favourite activity! 📣
Throughout lunch time one of our lovely residents went for a walk around the local village up to the shops and back finished off with Choir this afternoon 🎶🎶

This week, our residents have enjoyed a wonderful week of activities including Bingo, relaxing manicures as well as classics like dominoes, and lots of laughter with Giant Snakes & Ladders. 💅🎲🐍🎉

It’s been lovely seeing everyone socialising, having fun, and making happy memories together. ❤️

Today's activity focused on strengthening hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way. 🧩💙
These activities offer so much more than entertainment, they help keep the brain active, maintain dexterity and independence, encourage concentration, and provide valuable sensory stimulation.
For those living with dementia, they can also reduce anxiety, promote confidence, and create opportunities for social interaction and meaningful engagement.
Every smile, every conversation, and every achievement, no matter how small, contributes to our residents' wellbeing.🥰

Our lovely Emz Whitworth has been out shopping getting ready for our residents Beach Day! She popped into Smyths to buy some sand, after chatting to the manager and telling him what is was for he donated it all for FREE along with bubbles and the machine what an amazing kind gesture we are always so grateful for donations we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without them!
