☀️🌸 What a wonderful day we’ve had at our Summer Fayre! 🌸☀️

We were so lucky with the weather, enjoying plenty of sunshine with a lovely gentle breeze, making it the perfect afternoon for our summer celebration! 💕🎪

A huge thank you to our wonderful management team, Sowmiya and Raj, for coming in to support us and help make the day so special. We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Dan and Emily for coming in early and helping set everything up. Your hard work was very much appreciated! ❤️

A special thank you to Simon and our fantastic kitchen team for all their hard work preparing an amazing buffet for everyone to enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious! 👨‍🍳🍴

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team. A huge thank you to Sammi, Chris, Paris and Marion for organising, preparing and helping throughout the day. And a special mention to Ella, who came in on her day off to lend a hand and help wherever she was needed. We really appreciate you! 🥰

We were also treated to some fantastic entertainment from The Singing Gardener, who had everyone enjoying the music and creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the afternoon! 🎶🌿

And finally, a HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful stallholders, families, friends, residents and everyone who came along to support us. Your continued support means so much to us and helped make today such a lovely success. 💐

It was a fantastic day filled with sunshine, laughter, music, delicious food and plenty of community spirit. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did! ☀️💗

☀️🌸 A Taste of Summer at Aria Court 🌸☀️

This afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful summer reminisce activity, bringing a little bit of sunshine indoors and taking a trip down memory lane. 💕☀️

We explored our summer engagement box, looking through beautiful postcards and talking about holidays, seaside trips and favourite summer memories. We also had a lovely selection of different seashells to look at and feel, chatting about how beautiful and unique each one was. 🐚🌊

To make our afternoon even more special, we were joined by Simon, our Head of Culinary and Hospitality, who treated us to a fantastic summer taste-testing experience. 🍓🍉🍋

Simon prepared a wonderful selection of different fruits for everyone to try, including some fruits that were completely new to a few of our residents. It was lovely seeing everyone being adventurous and giving them a go, with plenty of opinions and conversations being shared along the way! 😋

He also made delicious homemade lemonade with a touch of honey to give it that extra sweetness, alongside a refreshing watermelon drink which went down a treat. 🍋🍉

The room was filled with laughter, smiles and wonderful conversations as everyone enjoyed discovering new flavours and reminiscing about summers gone by. It was lovely seeing our residents sharing stories and memories while enjoying some delicious refreshments together. ❤️

A massive thank you to Simon for creating such a thoughtful and enjoyable experience for our residents. And a big thank you to Dan and Hannah for helping to set everything up, and to Paris for accompanying and supporting throughout the afternoon. 🌸

It was the perfect afternoon filled with sunshine, memories, new experiences, delicious tastes and plenty of laughter! ☀️🐚🍉💕

🌟 Children’s Cereal & Craft Morning at Aria Court! 🌟

We’re excited to invite local families to join us at Aria Court Care Home for a fun and friendly morning of cereal, crafts and activities! 🥣🎨✨

Our sessions will run from 9:30am–11:30am in the Café, with plenty of opportunities for children to get creative, have some fun and enjoy spending time with our residents. 💜

📅 Wednesday 5th & 19th August: Gardening 🌱🌻
📅 Wednesday 12th & 26th August: Creative Mojo 🎨🖌️

🥣 Cereal and refreshments provided
🎨 Arts, crafts & additional activities
💜 A welcoming and friendly space for everyone

And the best part… it’s FREE for children! 🎉

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and supervised at all times.

🌿💜 Lavender Bag Making 💜🌿

This morning we got started on our lavender bags using the beautiful lavender that our Happy Potters have been busy harvesting and drying! 🌿🪻

It was lovely to see all their hard work coming together as we began filling and preparing the lavender bags. The room was filled with the gorgeous scent of lavender, plenty of creativity and lots of smiles! 💜

A big thank you to Marion for setting everything up, and to our wonderful Activity Coordinators, Paris and Chris, for helping out and making the morning so enjoyable. 🌸

Our handmade lavender bags will be available to buy for just £1 each or 3 for £2, with all money raised being donated to charity. 💕 They will be available to purchase from reception and at our Summer Fayre on 15th August.

A huge well done to our Happy Potters for all their hard work growing, harvesting and preparing the lavender. 🌿💜 We can’t wait to see our lavender bags making their way to their new homes while raising money for a great cause! 🪻✨

💜🌿 The Happy Potters have been busy harvesting! 🌿💜

Our lovely lavender is now ready to be bunched up and hung out to dry, ready for our next creative project. 💐

Next month, we’ll be putting our dried lavender to good use and making our very own lavender bags. We can’t wait to see the finished creations and enjoy the beautiful scent of our home-grown lavender! 💜

Well done to our Happy Potters for another lovely gardening achievement! 🌱🪻

📮 Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference 💙

Today, we accompanied our resident, Glenda, to the post box to send her letters. A simple easy walk, but one that meant so much to her.

As Glenda said, "It meant so much to me to get out."

🌞 Aria Court Summer Fayre Update! 🌞

We’re getting closer to our Aria Court Summer Fayre and we’re delighted to share some of the fantastic stalls, attractions and community support we have lined up for the day! 🎉

Our Summer Fayre is an open community event welcoming our residents, relatives, friends and the wider local community for a day of friendship and celebration 💙

So far, we’re excited to have:
🎤 Live entertainment in the Afternoon
🍦 Ice cream van (from 3pm)
🎨 Face painting
🎟️ Tombola
🎁 Grand raffle
🌸 Happy Potters Garden Club

Stalls joining us so far include:
📖 Handmade notebooks, memory albums and gift boxes
🌿 Natural skincare products and handmade bath products
👜 Handmade cotton tote bags
🧶 Handmade crochet creations
🍓 Homemade preserves
🏛️ March Museum (subject to confirmation)

We still have a few stall spaces available, so if you would like to be part of our Summer Fayre, please get in touch. We would love to hear from local businesses, charities, community groups, crafters or anyone who would like to join us for the day.

💚 Resident Wish 💚

After many years of not playing, David’s wish was to get back on the green for an outdoor roll-up! 💪🏼

We reached out to March Town Bowls Club and, together, we made it happen! 🥰

This morning, the weather was on our side, with the perfect combination of sunshine, cloud and a lovely breeze for our visit. ☀️🌥️

David was absolutely delighted to have his wish come true and commented, *“That has made my day.”* 😊

A huge thank you to Pete for being so welcoming and helpful, and for joining us for a roll-up. 💚

We had such a lovely morning and are already looking forward to coming back again soon!
