​We’ve had another fantastic week packed with smiles, music, and fun activities for our wonderful residents! Here is a look back at what we got up to:
​📜 Poetry & Personal Moments
We were delighted to welcome Niamh for a beautiful poetry reading session. She even spent time holding a private reading session for Ken, which was truly special.
​🃏 Game Show Fun
Mark Forsyth brought the house down with a hilarious game of Play Your Cards Right—safe to say there was plenty of laughter and higher-or-lower drama! 🤣
​💪 Fitness & Live Music Friday
We wrapped up the week on a high note! Friday morning kicked off with a great session with G Fitness to get everyone moving, followed by an incredible afternoon performance by the exceptional Chris Hyde. 🎤🎶

🍹 Cocktail Hour at Rosewood Manor! 🍸
​What a fantastic afternoon we had today at Rosewood Manor!
​Mark and Steph went all out dressing up for the occasion, shaking up top-shelf Mojitos, Margaritas, and Passion Fruit Martinis. The drinks were flowing so well that we even managed to run out of gin!
​Everyone was treated to full table service with delicious nibbles and fresh cakes, surrounded by fantastic music, non-stop laughter, and wonderful family time.
​A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special. Cheers to great times and even better company! 🥂✨

Today was filled with big smiles and happy hearts at Rosewood Manor! 💖
​This morning, our lovely friends from Little Angels returned for another wonderful intergenerational session. There was plenty of coloring, playing with Play-Doh, and lots of lovely singing together! 🎨🎶
​To top off a fantastic day, Mark and Daisy brought around a fabulous hydration trolley in the afternoon, complete with refreshing drinks, delicious cake, and ice cream! 🍹🍰🍦

This week has been all about those meaningful, one-to-one connection moments that make Rosewood feel like home. ❤️
Here’s a little look at what our residents have been enjoying:
✨ Warm Welcomes: We spent dedicated 1-on-1 time helping our lovely new residents settle in, make themselves comfortable, and feel right at home.
💇‍♀️ Pamper Sessions: Relaxing hair and beauty treatments to leave everyone feeling refreshed and looking their best.
🌳 Park Outings: Enjoying the fresh air on trips to the park—where we even got to meet a very special new friend, Ella the tortoise! 🐢
🎯 Indoor Fun: Wrapping up the week with cheerful indoor games and a lively round of Waleys Dart Days, where Mark was joined in running the activities today by Emily! A huge warm welcome and official Facebook debut to Emily! 🎉
🏆 A BIG congratulations to Bill and Doz, our brilliant darts winners this week! 🎯👏

✨ Pamper Day at Rosewood Manor! ✨
​There was plenty of relaxation, fresh styling, and bright smiles in the air today as our residents enjoyed a well-deserved day of pampering! 💇‍♀️💅🪒
​We split the day into two special sessions to make sure everyone received the full royal treatment:
​Morning Session (The Ladies): Donna had the salon buzzing, getting everyone’s hair styled to perfection, while Daisy worked her magic crafting beautiful nails with lovely splashes of color.
​Afternoon Session (The Gents): Mark took over after lunch for some classic grooming, giving the gents smart nail care and crisp, relaxing wet shaves.
​Everyone walked away looking sharp, feeling refreshed, and brimming with confidence! A huge thank you to Donna, Daisy, and Mark for putting so much care into making our residents feel extra special today. ❤️

​A massive thank you to the incredibly talented Leslie Ann and Katie Rose for coming and singing for us today. You brought so much joy, energy, and beautiful music to our home! 🎤✨
​We had an absolutely fantastic turnout—it was brilliant to see so many smiling faces, tapping toes, and everyone singing along together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable day.

Morning Sunshine with Audrey & Edna! ☀️🍦
​We started our day in the best way possible! This morning, the wonderful Audrey and Edna hit the town for a lovely little adventure to soak up the early sunshine.
​Here is how we spent our beautiful morning:
​The Treats: Audrey opted for a delicious banana milkshake 🍌🥤, while Edna went with a classic cup of tea ☕.
​Safety First: Even in the morning sun, we made sure to protect our skin—plenty of suncream was applied before we set off! 😎🧴
​A Scenic Stroll: Afterward, we took a gorgeous trip around Welland Park, enjoying the quiet morning breeze and beautiful scenery before heading back home. 🌸🌳
​It was the perfect start to the day, filled with bright smiles and wonderful company! ❤️
