Maternal mental health awareness week is this week.

4th - 10th may

It's a topic so very close to my heart and one of the main reasons Ready Baby Go exists.

From the depths of postnatal depression (borderline psychosis) grew a love and passion for supporting new mothers on their transitional journey.

Becoming a mother can be the most paradoxical change you ever experience. Boredom and overwhelm all at once, love and hate, lonely but never alone.

I struggled, I struggled HARD. I contemplated things that now seem so alien and extreme. But when the fog lifted, and I spoke more openly, the more I discovered I wasn't alone in this experience.

If you're through the other side (or even still in it) and want to share your story please write in the comments. Who knows it may help someone on the trenches see there's light ⭐💖
